I think it's a good place, quiet and clean. The staff is very polite and attentive. My grandmother in particular, seemed pretty well. That means she receives good care.

I visit my uncle once a week at random times. I usually phone the home to let them know I'm coming, sometimes it might only be 30 minutes notice, but my uncle is always well turned out and ready to go out. The staff treat my uncle with a lot of respect and dignity. They are very kind and patient with
him. They always make me welcome too. Thank you.
(This is all a new experience for me and the staff at Avon Lodge have made me feel confident that my uncle is in the right place).

Acorn Lodge has taken care of my mother's wellbeing since 2021. I am very happy with the care she is receiving. All the staff are very polite, nice and very capable of taking care of her.

My dad has been a resident here since 30th January 2025. I noticed on my last visit that he is happy there. He is still singing and happy go lucky. Dad's complex condition is healthier. The staff members are always cheerful and caring. Dad's leg sores are getting better. I would like to say a big thank

Acorn Lodge. Looks after and cares for my cousin, so well, The carers are so caring and always have the time to discuss anything that needs to be discussed whether it's health, or well being.
The home itself is kept clean at all times, maybe Just need to be a re-paint in the rooms, I do appreciate
this is difficult as residents are living in.
Over all I'm very happy with her care.

Mum has been at Acorn Lodge for 4 years and is being well looked after. The staff are kind and look after Mum well.
When I visit the residential home Mum is always pleased to see me. The staff always tell me if Mum is unwell.
It would be nice if families could visit in the lounge instead of in the
bedrooms.

My mum has been at Acorn Lodge for around 4 months now and I couldn't be any more pleased with the care she has received. The staff are friendly and extremely patient/considerate of my mum's needs. She is always clean and well-presented, she is eating well and seems so much happier now. There are lots
of activities for the residents and regular on-site visits from dentists/hairdressers. The management is very responsive to any queries and it's clear they care for the residents. Thank you!

Arrived at Acorn Lodge on 12th January 2024 - the managerial staff warmly welcomed me (and my niece who accompanied me to see me safely settled in at Acorn Lodge) with sandwiches and cups of tea for both of us which was very appreciated. We were seated in two comfortable chairs to relax whilst we had
a chance to take in where we had come. I was shown my room which was delightful and very soon discovered Acorn Lodge had an excellent staff to keep our spirits satisfied. The carers have long days and nights to attend to the residents who need them but deal with this. A lovely service is offered and this too is appreciated.

In my experience with staff members I can only say good things, they treat my father very well. His room is always tidy and clean. He is always well-presented in clean clothes and freshly showered. They treat him with the utmost respect and always have a good laugh and joke with him.

The staff at Acorn Lodge are very welcoming and consider the residents as their own. They treat the residents with the utmost respect and care. They are very attentive to the resident's needs. Acorn Lodge is maintained and cleanliness is to a high standard. Staff have made all efforts to make Acorn
