The care home is clean, neat and tidy with a cosy 'home' feel. The staff are always welcoming, there are no set visiting hours which I feel gives confidence in the continued high standard that I know.

I came to the summer barbeque, and it was lovely, good food and great entertainment. I love all the staff here - so nice to my mum. I cannot fault them. Mum always looks clean and tidy, with clean nails, etc.

I feel it is very well-managed, genuinely caring staff and I get the impression that each member of staff knows exactly what they can and can't do. If they "can't do" they will immediately consult the manager on duty.
They are always polite and most helpful. In short - well-trained.

My father is happy with his stay at Acorn Lodge Care home. He says he has a good routine and the carers make sure he has his medications and meals on time. We have found the staff and management to be personable, polite and friendly. They are easy to approach for queries or comments. The facility is

My dad receives the best care. He is always clean and well kept. He always tells me how everybody here is so helpful. All the staff are friendly and treat my dad with respect. I am kept informed of any changes in Dad's health, mood and eating habits. I feel I am involved in every aspect of Dad's care.
The home is like an extension of family for my dad. Thank you to all staff.

Since Dad's arrival, the staff have been caring and professional. Communication has been good and Dad has been treated with dignity. We feel he is cared for and feel relieved that he is safe a secure.

My husband was out into this home after his stay in hospital. I think we have been very lucky, the staff have been very caring and helpful. My husband has always looked clean and tidy. My husband hasn't always been the easiest to look after but I feel he is looked after very well.

My interaction with staff members has been good. The staff are always pleasant and helpful. However, it is perhaps my father's experience that is more relevant and since he suffers from dementia, it is difficult to know whether there is in truth any basis for complaints that he has reported.

The staff are very friendly and give us great confidence in the level of care mum is receiving. The environment is clean and comforting. We see that there are activities and there are celebrations on her birthday. Mum also receives regular check-ups for her health ie diabetes. Overall the family are

My husband had Alzheimer's disease and was admitted to Acorn Lodge after he'd been hospitalised after a stroke and heart attack. He was treated with care and dignity even though staff were under great pressure due to covid19 restrictions. I wasn't able to see his room or all of the facilities, but I
know that he was happy and at ease whenever I went to see him. He was able to get far better care in a home that had trained staff. He also had more company than he'd have at home.
