I’m very happy with the care and compassion given and shown to my mum. Forget me not is a warm and friendly home, and the standard of care is excellent. I’m kept up to date with mum's well being, very prompt if things change. Lots of activities provided to stimulate and always lots of smiling faces. They have gone the extra mile during the pandemic and created a safe environment; I couldn’t ask for more.

A really hard decision for my fiercely independent father to move into residential care, yet with kindness, understanding and lots of jokes made the transition as easy as possible whilst giving him the space to adjust and retaining his dignity. Staff really mindful of the impact on the wider family and great in supporting some tough conversations such as the surrendering of car keys! Although dad was only there for about 4-months, we experienced a huge range of skills and care from simple residential needs through to full nursing with special care and arrangements put in place to help the family say goodbye in tough COVID restricted times, and ease dad's passing ensuring absolutely no pain and dignity to the end. Thank you - your kindness will not be forgotten.

Small and very friendly, in a nice position for a walk in the park. Amazing staff, who all try their hardest to please even the most difficult 'guests'. My wife was one of the more disruptive residents, but she was treated with respect even when she was infuriating!

My Grandad slipped away last night. I thank this care home for giving him probably some of his best loving years here. A massive, special mention to 2 members of staff in particular that took time out of their day after work to visit him in the hospital. The hospital nurses also spoke very highly of this care home. The staff there thought it was a new care home and were wondering why it was rapidly getting popular. My guess...genuine compassion from the lovely ladies that work there.

(Side note) when my mum went to see him after a few days of him being there. She was worried he wouldn’t like it or adjust. There he was sat watching the news, reading his paper with a Gin and Tonic! If this place is still open in a few decades time. Sign me up.

Thank you SOOOOO very much for your kind words. We will be sure to pass them on to all of the staff. Please accept our condolences, your Grandad will be sorely missed by us all in the Forget me not family.

We moved my mother out of another home due to bad care and moved my mother into Forget Me Not where she is very happy. Staff are absolutely fantastic and the manager is very professional. If my mother needs anything, they will always contact us. We are very happy with my mother now living at Forget Me Not Residential Home.

My nan is very happy at Forget Me Not Residential Home, she spent a long time on her own at home, now she is with others and enjoys activities that are put on. My grandmother has benefited from being at Forget Me Not, she is well cared for by the wonderful staff, management are so very approachable, nothing is too much trouble for any of them. The food is excellent, my grandmother's room has all her own things in. Very happy with everything about Forget Me Not Residential Home.

Come to visit a family friend and found the home very clean and tidy. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I met both the manager and deputy manager, who were both very professional. I had a look round the home whilst on my visit and the rooms looked lovely with many having views of lovely flowers outside the windows.

My uncle is very happy at Forget Me Not. The staff are very friendly and can't help him enough. When he first came to the home he was withdrawn, since being at Forget Me Not he is now joining in with activities and chatting with other residents in the home; I've not seen him so happy in a long time. His appetite has improved and he likes all the food that is put in front of him and at long last, his weight is gaining and he is a lot happier in himself. He seems to be a different man. Thanks to all the staff at Forget Me Not.

Very happy that my father is at Forget Me Not Residential Home. All staff and management are fantastic, they go way, way above their duties and far beyond to ensure my dad is looked after. We can't stress enough that staff and management go above and do everything, not just for our dad, all the residents at the home.

This care home is excellent. Such a duty of care to all residents and they keep them active with constant activities. This is so key, to keep all the residents laughing and mobile. It also acts as an educational aspect for those who want to learn something new or for those who perhaps forget things regularly. Lovely ladies, good meals, the best care home I’ve witnessed.

Very good experience. Mum has settled in better than the family hoped she would. The staff are all very good and we would recommend it. Mum is not that keen on mixing in the lounge, but she has engages more than we though she would. She is happy here and that makes us happy. She is very happy and loves her room looking out onto the garden.

My family and I were very upset when we were told my grandmother had to go into a care home. We phoned Forget Me Not and spoke to the manager who was very understanding and took the time to go through everything with us in great detail, the staff were all very helpful and caring, nothing seemed too much trouble.

Since my grandmother has been at Forget Me Not she has now got back that sparkle in her eye and is enjoying her final days. Therefore I will take this opportunity to say a great heart felt thank you to the manager and all the staff.
