It's never an easy decision to move a loved one into care, however, I really do feel moving my lovely mum to Aveley Lodge was absolutely the right decision and I truly do highly recommend this wonderful place.

Inside the environment is light, comfortable and relaxing. The staff are attentive and caring towards the residents and treat them with respect and dignity.
The care given to my cousin was at all times cheerful, thorough and compassionate, even when she was quite difficult to deal with. Her very special, high-level needs were addressed extremely professionally.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Aveley Lodge to anyone - except for the fear that were too many people to apply for residency, there might no longer be a room available for me when the time comes!
Thank you so much for your kind words. We very much appreciate your comments and will pass these to the staffing team.

Aveley Lodge Care Home, previously known as Aveley Lodge Retirement Home, was officially opened on 25th July 1989 by Robin Parmenter, the father of the current owners, Michael and Deborah. Having grown up immersed in the family business, Michael and Deborah took over full ownership in 2006 when Robin retired, and they have transformed Aveley Lodge into the care home you see today. They are both very passionate about care, passionate about Aveley Lodge, and passionate about individuals receiving the care, dignity and respect they deserve. They both strongly believe that all those in care should and must be treated fairly and compassionately and that the care offered is governed by our Home’s key principles as well as effective communication, total professionalism, and absolute attention to detail. Keeping Aveley Lodge a small and informal family-run care home has always been central to their ethos. They enjoy the opportunity of giving those in their twilight years a chance to spend their final days in a safe, pleasurable and relaxing environment that they have created here at Aveley Lodge.
