Bings Hall

My mother moved to Bings Hall in the latter part of last year. My family have been very pleased with the care she is receiving. Her newly decorated upstairs room is beautiful and she enjoys the space and the lovely view from the garden. The staff are excellent and very welcoming to visitors. There is always a cup of tea and home made cakes on offer! It is a great relief to me to know that my mother, who is in her nineties, is being very well looked after.

My Gran was admitted to Bings Hall in September 2017 for emergency respite care, and has been there ever since, since it was subsequently decided that she was not fit to return home. The care that she has received has been superb. Her room is comfortable and well looked after. The staff cannot be faulted in any way, they are throughly professional and go out of their way to try to make my Gran feel 'at home'. They have also been extremely helpful to us all in coping with her illness. All my family are equally impressed with Bings Hall.

They do it with such care and love.

When my mother could no longer look after herself, we were very lucky that Bings Hall had a spare room. It was home from home as much as was possible and the carers were very kind. They made my mother's last days as comfortable as possible and the family were very grateful for all they did for her.

Excellent standard of care provided. My aunt is well looked after, her needs are well met and she is really happy. Staff are attentive and friendly, always willing to go the extra mile and very approachable. Management always willing and available to answer any questions or queries. Lots of varied activities on offer within the home.

My 93-year-old mother has been a resident at Bings for nearly 2 years. When we originally chose a home for her, Bings stood out. With only 15 or so residents the care is very individual, my mother sees the same faces all the time and the layout means there is a constant flow of carers and visitors buzzing around keeping life interesting. We are full of admiration for the manager and her staff, who are unfailingly bright, kind and attentive. The food is excellent, varied and tasty. It’s cooked fresh on the premises by staff in the kitchen who also serve, so build up good relationships with the residents. Bings really is like a home where people care.

I have recommended Bings to several friends and would have no hesitation in doing so again in the future.

My mum was a resident at Bings Hall for 6 months following a serious stroke and she had Alzheimer’s disease. The staff are all very kind and caring. Nothing was too much trouble and mum smiled such a lot and enjoyed the activities, especially bingo and the music sessions. The cooks were exceptional too, going the extra mile. Thank you all so very much. It was very reassuring to know mum was cared for by such kind, compassionate carers in her final months of life. I enjoyed being there frequently with mum and was made very welcome.

It's like a home from home for the residents. All home cooked food and excellent staff to make Bings Hall run smoothly so the residents are always happy.

Thought Bings Hall to be very lovely. The staff were always welcoming and kind. My friend was always clean, tidy and well cared for.

A wonderful small caring home, extremely efficiently ran, very personal attention given with love and affection.

The staff are excellent, they assist with the integration of new residents in a kind and professional manner, making it a relaxed and safe environment, enhancing confidence in the transition from home to care home. The home itself is a home from home. Fabulous home cooked meals, lovely rooms and high quality of care. It is managed extremely well and communication from home to residents' family is open and informative. I would definitely recommend Bings Hall.

Our ninety-year-old mother suffers from mixed dementia and moved to Bings Hall when it became clear that her health was declining rapidly. Imagine our relief when in a matter of weeks her general health and well being dramatically improved, as a result of the care provided by Bings Hall staff and the excellent facilities. She is clearly settled there and is enjoying the stimulation and the daily routine.

My mother has been at Bings Hall for a few months and she has been treated with respect and nothing is too much trouble. The staff are brilliant, friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this home.

She died at the end of August 2017, in her own bed and her family were all so pleased her life ended with dignity in a home where she was loved and cared for so well.

I do not need to add to what I have indicated by the ratings below. My siblings and I were delighted to have found a home with such high standards, less than a quarter of a mile from where we grew up and the home which our mother loved.

My Grandma says the food is superb and that's high praise! They bring us tea and cake when we visit and it's always yummy. We feel relieved that Grandma is in such good hands.

All decisions regarding her care have been discussed and agreed upon.
