Review from Wendy G (Daughter of Resident) published on 22 February 2022 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

Our mum was cared for at Westcliff Lodge for many years. During that time she was always treated with love and kindness. We never had any worries that her needs weren't being taken care of, even when her condition deteriorated and she was unable to communicate. The staff at Westcliff Lodge really knew our mum and treated her as an individual with care and compassion. We cannot thank past and present staff enough for the support and love shown to us, as well as our mum, during her time at The Lodge.

Overall Experience

My sister was very content whilst in your care. We found that the staff could not have been more kind and caring. Although Covid caused problems, the management went out of their way to make sure my sister had visitors or video calls which we all found a great help.

Overall Experience

Lovely caring team in lovely rooms. The food is great and residents seem very happy to be there. Residents are cared for as individuals and allowed to be their own person, which makes for a very relaxed atmosphere. Would highly recommend.

Overall Experience
The home is in a lovely position near Westcliff seafront and in a quiet road. Good parking and good transport links if visiting by train.
There are two pleasant lounges and the rooms are very pleasant of which some have a sunny aspect and some with views of the sea. The staff keep the home very clean including the resident's rooms. The food here is excellent and the home is very fortunate to have a chef that has been with the home many years. Visitors are offered lunch if their visits coincide with lunch time.
The staff are very kind and gentle with the residents and do their best to make sure the residents are comfortable.
All the residents were relaxed and, as far as they could be, happy in their surroundings.

Visitors are welcomed and the senior staff keep relatives or close friends informed of the health and well-being of their loved ones.
