I originally contacted Easterlea for short term respite care when my father developed rapid onset dementia following a fall. Due to his deterioration, we decided it was best for him to stay there as a full resident. The staff were all fantastic, caring and patient. They kept us informed and "in the loop" and looked after him until he sadly passed away. He was always clean and shaved, up and dressed smartly each day and the food was excellent. My mother has recently died at the Easterlea after a short illness. The level of care she has received throughout her two and a half years in the home has been exemplary in every way, in particular, her final weeks when it was so reassuring to know she was getting the care she deserved.

The care given and the staff are extremely good. The food provided is, I understand very good indeed. Cleanliness is a priority. Entertainment is provided several times a week which the residents appreciate.

We have three rooms available. All en-suite. The first room is ground floor and faces out of the front of the house. The second is a large room on the first floor and has a side facing window. The third is on the first floor and has a garden facing view. All rooms are level access via a passenger lift.
