Mum came to Easterlea after a fall at home to help her get stronger so we could see if she was able to go back home and live alone.

She was made very welcome and comfortable from the moment she arrived. All of the staff were very friendly and kind, we were very happy with the level of care that mum received. Easterlea is a comfortable happy home we would highly recommend to others.

I could not be happier with the care mum gets. They have not only cared but know the things she likes. Since being at Easterlea, mum is happy and feels safe. I am so pleased she is there.

I originally contacted Easterlea for short term respite care when my father developed rapid onset dementia following a fall. Due to his deterioration, we decided it was best for him to stay there as a full resident. The staff were all fantastic, caring and patient. They kept us informed and "in the loop" and looked after him until he sadly passed away. He was always clean and shaved, up and dressed smartly each day and the food was excellent. This was care as it should be delivered - Thank you.

My Nan was very happy, enjoyed a little chat with care staff. All my Nan's needs were met. She enjoyed all meals except fish so she would be offered something else. She was well looked after. Carer's always made family members welcome any time of the day.
I would recommend this care home.

It was a comfort to know my Nan was looked after and no worry's for her.

My mother has recently died at the Easterlea after a short illness. The level of care she has received throughout her two and a half years in the home has been exemplary in every way, in particular, her final weeks when it was so reassuring to know she was getting the care she deserved.

My mother has been at the Easterlea Rest Home since October 2017. It is always a difficult transition when living independently and moving to residential care.

The management and staff have been fantastic to help mum settle in and she now is very happy in her new home.

My mother is being well looked after by the caring staff and has everything she needs.
I have no worries with any medical treatment she may require and if there's a problem I always receive a prompt telephone call.
She loves the food that the chef prepares to her liking, no complaints at all.

To anyone contemplating a home, I would not hesitate to recommend Easterlea Rest Home.

This home has a wonderful ambience; it is welcoming and friendly. All the residents appear active and happy. The staff are empathetic and treat my husband in day care with dignity and professionalism.

There are regular activities involving art and music. My husband attends the home twice a week for 4 hours. He has settled in and now looks forward to his visits.

My mother used Easterlea for Day Care recently. The welcome from the staff and residents could not have been warmer. She had a lovely day and was really lively and happy afterwards. The home has a wonderful family feel with very caring staff. They coped really well with her short-term memory loss.

I cannot speak too highly of Easterlea Daycare and Mum is looking forward to coming back. Thank you.

An excellent home where carers take the time to get to know the residents, their history and their health. Lots of activities too. My mum had been in a bad way and she now takes interest in the music, pets and activities. The food is homemade and mum is looking good. A wonderful home with wonderful carers.

The level of care given to my mother is excellent. Her needs are paramount. The staff are friendly and caring. The food is cooked on site and is nutritious and varied. Residents are visited by outside individuals and organisations providing enrichment and entertainment. The management is wholly professional and very experienced. They maintain effective links with GPs etc. Easterlea provides a comfortable and homely environment.

We have visited once a week at different times and found the level of care consistent. Staff are always welcoming and there is a general happy feeling in the community.

An area where entertainment could be improved is an external outing that would give the more able residents a day out.
