Hollybank is an amazing place. A real family home where residents are cared for and loved without exception. Every effort is made to ensure events and activities are inclusive and enjoyable in order to enhance social interactions and keep residents active. All the staff are fabulous and supportive both to residents and relatives alike and I cannot thank them enough for all the help and love they have shown us.
It really is our pleasure to work for some of the most wonderful people in our community and their caring supportive families.
We enjoy our work and are always happy to hear we have produced positive outcomes for all.
My father has been a resident at HollyBank for the last four years plus. We can't speak highly enough of the staff and Michelle the manage. Dad has had the best care, the entertainment is great and we feel the staff know him so well. We really couldn't wish for a better place for dad to be in his final years.
Thank you for your kind words, we are so pleased you are happy with the care and support we provide. It is a great pleasure to support some of the most wonderful people in our community and their families.
My Mother-in -Law is happy and well looked after at Hollybank which gives us great peace of mind.
The pleasure is all ours. We are pleased to know, we can support not only the people that live here, but also their wonderful caring families.
From the moment we stepped into the home we have both been welcomed and made to feel part of the family. I cannot thank them or praise them enough for the wonderful and dedicated service given by every member of staff that I have met. For those whom I have not met, thank you too for the care you provide.
I visit almost every day (rare to miss) and am always greeted and welcomed with a smile. Joining in the activities and entertainment is welcomed and refreshments are offered along with the offer of meals and I have stayed for a number of super Sunday roasts.
All staff are approachable and ready to listen and help, nothing is any bother and my wife and I are able to spend quality time together.
For me, my wife is in a wonderful environment and the care provided is beyond measure. Thank you to each and everyone.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We all love our careers and it is an honor to be supporting some of the most wonderful people in our community. We take pride in knowing we make a difference each day.
My mother was a resident at Hollybank for 8 months. The care team there are excellent. Mum had several health issues and limited mobility but she always told us she was happy there and felt safe and cared for. Hollybank has a friendly , family home feel to it and moving mum there from the large corporate care home she had been in before was the best thing we could have done. I would recommend Hollybank to anyone considering a care home . As a family we were always made very welcome to visit any time and towards the end of mums life the care team there were wonderful .
We send you all our best wishes.
It was an absolute pleasure and privilege to have been able to support mum. x
I live a 4hr drive away, and when I contact Hollybank, nothing is ever too much. Thank you.
It is an absolute pleasure to take care of the wonderful people, we are privileged to support.
we visited my mum during the Christmas holiday and took her out 4 days in a row, it was not an easy task in that she can hardly walk. Hollybank gave us such an amazing service and helped so much that this was 4 very successful days. When mum got back from being out the staff looked after her and were extremely helpful. They are always so friendly and helpful and my mum is extremely happy there. Nothing to complain about what so ever.
Thank you for your amazing review. Mum had a wonderful Christmas with family and it was an absolute pleasure to be a part of that.
My mothers Alzheimers is progressing rapidly, and I had a very bad experience with her when I went to see her. The staff could see how upset I was and they took the time to help me settle my mum, then spent time with me to make sure I was okay. Every time I go, they are always kind, generous and helpful, with a real care for those they look after. They go the extra mile to make sure that things are okay and care about both residents and their families. I love Hollybank Rest Home, and am so glad I chose it as a place for my mum to live out her life, and be cared for in a lovely way.
Thank you for your kind words and appreciation. Family are just as important to the team as the person we support, we are always available to help and support, it is our pleasure.
I loved watching all the Christmas activities that you had for all the lovely residents. It was especially nice seeing my Mom joining in and participating in Christmas baking which she always enjoyed doing in her younger years. The staff go above and beyond in their care for everyone which I witnessed myself when I visited Mom in May 2024. I live in Canada so really appreciate the Facebook posts.
Thank you for your positive review. It is good to hear that our Facebook page is reaching far away family members and helping them to share in the memories we are making.
The staff are so helpful and friendly and the care she receives is excellent.
Excellent facilities, activities and food and the small homely feel of Hollybank is just what Mum needed.
Thank you for your positive review, we are really pleased Mum is happy and settled and you feel you have made the right move. It is a privilege to work with the wonderful individuals we support.
I cannot speak highly enough about the quality of the staff that cared for dad and the loving, supportive, resident focused approach care that is offered to everyone at Hollybank.
From the leadership team headed up by one of the staff members, who sets the professional and caring tone, to every single person who works there, you could not get better care or attention for your loved ones who need residential care.
The food is excellent, they ensure there is always something the residents enjoy. Cleaning standards are excellent. All the staff go the extra mile to ensure there are plenty of activities and enrichment for those residents wanting to participate, celebrating so many events! Nothing is too much trouble.
I rarely give a five star review but Hollybank is a five star establishment in every aspect!!!
Thank you for your positive review and kind words. It was an absolute pleasure to be trusted with the care of your wonderful father, he will remain in our thoughts and heart, as do you his family.
Everywhere is very clean and tidy, it's lovely and warm. The food is excellent, the staff are very efficient, helpful and friendly. There is always some entertainment on to keep the residents occupied. A lovely home.

Was amazing by the super standard in this home. More like a 5-star hotel. Warm friendly, clean, good company and good food.
Thank you for your kind review. We are pleased to hear positive feedback and do our best to ensure positive outcomes for the people we support and their friends and families.
The staff are amazing showing love and support at all times. They are always so positive, happy and patient.
His bedroom and en-suite is lovely with everything he needs.
The home has a lovely family feel and nothing is too much bother.
Thank you for your kind and encouraging comments. We are very pleased to know you and your father are happy and feel well-supported in our home.
With patience and help from staff and external professionals, Mum eventually settled and says she feels safe and secure at Hollybank. She likes the staff and knows they do their best for her.
We are grateful for the much-needed help Mum received in 'crisis'.
Family meetings with the manager and deputy manager help us better understand what we all strive for in this chapter of Mum's life. We feel our input has been important and have felt listened to by staff.
We appreciate everything done to make Mum's life at Hollybank a positive chapter.
The palliative care she now needs is over and above what is usually expected by a care home.
They have told me they will continue to care for her till the inevitable end.
They have organised and negotiated a care plan between the County Council, Hollybank Rest Home and me that is still very expensive but will cater for her needs. This has taken a great deal of time and effort to achieve as you can imagine!
They work as a united and loving team which is led from the top.
Absolutely nothing at all negative. On every visit, the residents are happy and looked after/cared for like no other.
Thank you for your kind words and positive feedback. It is very reassuring to know, we are getting it right and producing positive outcomes for residents and their families.
My mother has been very happy in this care home relaxed and joyful. The home is a very friendly place and the facilities are of a high standard. Management goes out of their way to provide for staff, clients and family members, cleanliness is outstanding. This care home is one big happy family.
Thank you for your kind words. We will always do our very best for the wonderful people we support, it is as always our pleasure.
This home is outstanding. The level of care is exceptional. This is what care should look like. A home full of caring loving staff where my relative feels safe. The home is nothing short of immaculate and has great activities and outings in their car. Even a takeaway when requested! Management always present to answer any questions.
Thank you so much for your kind and positive feedback.
I would like to say that this care home is outstanding. The managers and their teams are very approachable, happy to engage with you, and give first-class care. It is always a happy home, like your second family. The residents are always being kept busy, playing games, out in the car, jigsaws, etc, and being entertained. But mostly they go above and beyond to care for your loved one.
We enjoy supporting some of the most wonderful people in our community and take pride in providing a safe and happy home.
