Even though this care home is old-fashioned, I have found it with good caring staff and a homely atmosphere. The food is adequate and nutritious but I found the room where my friend is rather small and smelt musty. The windows did not open properly so I fear if there was an emergency it could get...
Even though this care home is old-fashioned, I have found it with good caring staff and a homely atmosphere. The food is adequate and nutritious but I found the room where my friend is rather small and smelt musty. The windows did not open properly so I fear if there was an emergency it could get quite scary. Overall I would give a 7 out of 10.

With regards to your friend's window, all of the windows at the home are fitted with restrictors in order to be compliant with Health & Safety Regulations and this is standard within the care home/healthcare industry.

Overall Experience
My parent has been a resident of Kinross for the last couple of months. Although the transition has been a bit difficult the care that my parent is receiving has been handled with kindness.
