Having worked in the medical sector, I am aware of the many challenges faced in caring for those in their twilight years. Hence, I felt that the standard of care that I wanted for my mum may not exist.
That all changed when I stepped through the doors of Oakland Grange. Right from the start I found
all the staff to be professional, cheerful and friendly. Residents are treated with respect and dignity within a lovely family environment. The level of care is of the highest standard and it is obvious that the exemplary care ethos stems from the top and is evident in every single member of staff.

Oakland Grange is a fantastic care home and took good care of my mum. I do not know what we would have done without the Oakland Grange team. The staff are kind and knowledgeable, they always welcomed me and the kids when we visited my mum. They gave the kids biscuits and us tea, always with a smile.
It is such a difficult job to care for dementia patients with all of their needs but they did so with respect and dignity. I would recommend Oakland Grange to care for anyone I ;oved and I thank the team there for everything they have done for me and my mum.

My step father has a good experience whilst he lived at Oakland Grange. The staff were very professional and most importantly very caring. He always commented to me as to how happy he was with his treatment.

Mum was a resident for 3 1/2 years here, she was well cared for and enjoyed her time here. Compassionate and caring. They knew mum well and met her needs well. They were extremely caring in her last few days of life. A great care home and staff.

I genuinely cannot praise the manager and her team enough for the care and attention they give to the residents of Oakland Grange. Not only that, but they really support us as family members too. We recently noticed my nan had lost her Gold rings which was very sentimental to us and it was found clearly
labelled in their safe, waiting for someone to claim it. Their honesty, care and love is clear to see and we appreciate them very much.

The care and support that my aunt received at Oakland Grange was exceptional over a period of almost 3 years until now. Had there to be a score out of 10, I would have given 12!
The care home was initially chosen as the offered respite and had an available room. During this initial stay, my aunt asked
to become a resident and was even cared for during a covid infection (that even a hospital has failed to diagnose). The staff at the home are amazing, led by top-quality management.
Thoroughly recommended in all regards.

A management team that leads by example. Residents are respected, treated with dignity and care. All residents are spoken to as adults and their wishes are carried out the best of the staff's abilities.
My relative's experience was as good as you would hope for. I never worried about my relative. I
know he was in safe hands.
The team are simply amazing.
I have no other words than to recommend this home for your relative, you would never have to worry.

My uncle came to Oaklands Grange in 2023. His room is bright and clean, and he was provided with a recliner chair to sit in. The staff are very polite and helpful and assist to live a good life, in that they will shop for him for anything he needs. His personal care is excellent, and if there are any
issues with anything, these are remedied very quickly. I would have no hesitation in recommending Oakland Grane. Totally nice atmosphere when there! Really clean!

My mum has been a resident here for five years, and I have never been to a care home with such attentive and wonderful staff. I work in the medical field and am blown away by the staff, always going above and beyond to ensure their residents are happy and well cared for. I would truly recommend this
nursing home to take care of their loved ones in their time of need.

My mother has been at Oakland Grange for over four years. The staff are excellent with her and her family. Mum's needs are well catered for; she always looks clean and well dressed, food is good, and if she does not like the menu, they will do her something she does like. They have lots of activities
for the residents, often bringing in entertainment and taking them out.
I cannot praise them enough for the care and compassion they show Mum and the way they treat us every time we visit.

Our auntie is cared for so well. They know her so well too. They deal with all her personal care, from washing, dressing encouraging her to eat and keeping her safe. The staff all show kindness and empathy not just to our auntie but also to us. The staff are also very informative, keeping us up to date
with every ongoing. We can't praise them enough. Leaving our aunt in their care is so very comforting, and we have peace of mind she will be looked after well.

My brother-in-law was a resident at Oakland Grange Care Home for several years. Distance made it difficult to visit often but we did manage a few visits and spoke by phone frequently. Despite declining mobility and health, he was always positive and full of praise for his carers and the friendship they
showed to him. I am very glad that he was living in a friendly and supportive place.
In recent years, he needed increasing amounts of care and I know that he found the staff always willing to go the extra mile to help him. I also found the management, whenever I contacted them, to be helpful and responsive. I cannot comment on all the categories below as I did not have the opportunity to experience them but on the basis of those aspects I did see, I am sure that they all deserve a rating as excellent.

My mum has been a resident since October 2018. She is very happy there. The staff are very good with Mum. I find the staff very friendly and helpful, especially if I have any queries concerning Mum and her care. I would recommend this home to anyone who is looking for a care home for their loved ones.
