For the 3 years my father was at this home has been a happy time for him. The staff and management have been very friendly, kind and compassionate towards him and was looked after very well.

The care home gave the best care for my dad. It also gave him his medication as required. They helped get through his pain he used to get. The carers are friendly, polite, respectful and helpful. Overall I was very happy about Dad being in Oakland Grange.

My Auntie is currently residing in Oakland Grange Southsea and she is very happy. A week before she moves in, my friend and I were on a mission to find a good home for my aunt. We both felt warm and welcoming the moment we entered the home. The staff are so friendly, caring and approachable. Nothing
is too much trouble.
The home equipped with adequate facilities, premier location, clean, excellent menu, good daily activities and friendly staff. The team has never failed to update me should there be any problem with my aunt, a very good communication system indeed.
The home is managed extremely well by the Manager and its team, all problems are dealt with promptly.
In my opinion, this is one of the best care homes in Southsea. Well done Oakland Grange and thank you very much.

My mother has spent seven years at Oakland Grange and has been well looked after by all the staff. They should all be praised for their commitment to the residents.

My mother was admitted from hospital in September this year. From the moment she was admitted (until her death on 22/11/19) she received the best possible care, attention and love we could have asked for. All the staff are exceptional and we couldn't have asked for more.

Oakland Grange has been extremely kind and supportive during the difficult progression of our father's illness. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Staff are always so friendly and welcoming when we arrive, and Dad has been very happy living here.
We are so grateful for the gentleness and professional
care extended to Dad during his palliative care. The staff ensured he was always cared for with dignity, and that he died with great dignity too.
Mum and Dad were so fortunate to be accommodated together, in such a nice setting.

I cannot recommend this home highly enough. All the staff are very caring and compassionate and treat the residents with a such a lot of respect and kindness. The staff definitely go above and beyond what is expected of them. It is not unusual for staff to stay past their shift to help or comfort a
resident. They do not do this just because it is part of the job but because they really care. The food is excellent and cooked by a chef on the premises. The homemade banana bread is definitely one to try. If my mother does not feel like something they would make something else to tempt her. Nothing was too much trouble. This is a wonderful place to stay.

Compassionate and responsive care from every single member of the team. A warm, safe and very homely place.
