Burleigh House offers both long-term and short-term residential and dementia care, as well as respite, intermediate and day care.

Registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), Burleigh House offers comprehensive facilities and a service of care developed to promote individuality, comfort, safety and well-being.

Burleigh House's outstanding quality and high standards have been recognised by Hertfordshire County Council, bestowing an “Accredited Care Home for Herts CC” within Hertfordshire.

The Home has also been specially selected by Hertfordshire County Council to participate in their “Complex Care Premium” (CCP) initiative, (since 2015). They are one of only a few care homes in the whole of Hertfordshire to be selected to act as a “beacon” care home within Hertfordshire, providing care to residents with complex care needs.

Every time I visit my mother-in-law she is always happy and says to me she wants to stay here. The staff are very friendly and always have a smile on their face. My mother-in-law is an Indian lady, and she speaks limited English and staff do understand her when she is asking for things. Her room is

My dad didn't want to be in a care home but thought all the staff at Burleigh were brilliant.
He regularly told family and friends that if they were unwell, he would definitely recommend they go to stay at Burleigh!

As my mother's condition has steadily deteriorated the care home have continually adapted her care to meet her needs. She is always treated with great dignity and care. The home always contact me if there is any change in her condition and are very consultative.

Absolutely fantastic place with wonderful, caring staff. We were so worried when we couldn't care for dad at home any longer but Burleigh House is great. They make all the family feel at home. I really like it, that we can visit at any time, so we can see the home as it really is.

My mother moved here in August 2016 and has settled very well. The staff are wonderful and very skilled. I am a previous carer and the standards of the home would be what I would look for if looking for job vacancies. Nothing is too much trouble and they always contact you if they are worried or if
something occurs with my mum. The food is lovely and the chefs give the residents a choice. I have started to attend residents/ family meeting which is really well run as they give you every detail of what is happening in the home. They run activities every day and sometimes take the residents out on trips. I could not have found a better place for my mum.

I am of the opinion that this home delivers over and above the required levels whilst it is fair to say that my father does not "enjoy" being there he knows that he is in the best possible place with the 24-hour care etc.
