My mum has been in Newgrange since October 25 and the care has been consistent. She is really well looked after she is very stable since she went in. The staff are very caring and kind she is very happy there. Most of the staff have been there a long time.
They listen to what the residents needs are at any given time.
The rooms are bright and airy. The home is spotless.
If you want to invite a few family members they have a room available.

I am very grateful to have found a home that suits my mum.

My Aunt has been in Newgrange Care Home for 3 months and every need she has has been catered for. The home is spotless and there is an entertainment schedule if wanted. There is a hairdresser available and a chiropodist visits and, I'm sure if you required anything else, they would do their best to facilitate. My aunt is 90 and this is the first time she has not had 'her own home' but in her words "I love it here". There is always a member of staff on hand to talk to and they are all tuned in to her wants and needs. The staff and carers are extremely efficient and friendly and above all approachable. Nothing is too much trouble. I highly recommend Newgrange to anyone looking for a caring community of carers and staff to look after your relative.

My mum was welcomed into this lovely home from the moment she arrived. The staff have been great and we have seen an improvement in mum's mobility and confidence. I feel so much more relaxed knowing mum is safe and cared for and we are welcome to visit at anytime.

Mum has been at Newgrange since December 2024 and we couldn't be happier with it. It wasn't safe for her to be living at home anymore but we know that she is completely safe and well looked after at Newgrange. Every member of staff knows her personally and you can see that the care they give the residents it tailored to their individual needs. Staff always respond to any queries promptly and efficiently. They all work so hard but always have a smile on their face
Her room is always spotless and the whole building is always clean. She regularly tells me how good the food is! There is a good range of activities to take part in, but noone is forced to join in if they don't want to. Families are invited along to special occasions like the Summer party.

My sister and I are so glad we chose Newgrange

Mum has been at Newgrange for 9 months and is extremely happy. The care is exceptional and all the staff interact and care for her with dignity and respect and smiles. There is always so much thought goes into to the residents care. There is entertainment and activities for the residents and regular events, afternoon teas, dinners and parties. Mum has made friends with other residents as well as the staff. Newgrange is a home from home. The staff should be commended for the energy, thought and love they show to the residents.

Overall Experience

Mum has been a resident of Newgrange since July 2019 and the level of care, compassion, love has not changed from day one. All staff from the Managers to the cleaners are so wonderful and are not only there for Mum but for myself as well. Mum did not have much mobility but was able to join in with all the activities - sadly she took to bed in 2021 with dementia and there she has remained. The level of care Mum needs has obviously increased and all staff are so considerate of her dignity and always come into her room with a smile and stay for a chat even though Mum is no longer aware, no conversation, or recognises myself. Her personal hygiene is second to none and she always looks clean and fresh. Mum has to be risk fed due to swallowing/choking issues and whichever carer feeds her, takes so much time and care and are so tender with her. I am so grateful to all staff for the last 6 years of care to Mum - they are our earth angels and Mum is in very good kind hands - Thank you x

Overall Experience
As soon as we walked in we felt a warm friendly atmosphere. I spoke to family members of other residents who all said how happy they were with their loved ones care & their loved ones were happy at Newgrange.
My mum has been here since June 2025 & she is happier & brighter than when she was at home. She has Alzheimer's & although she isn't always sure of where she is, she constantly asks me if she can stay another night. Mum joins in with a range of activities & is constantly monitored & checked up on, I receive updates when needed.
I love that we can visit whenever we like & also take mum out if she needs an appt or change of scenery.

The staff are friendly, attentive & encouraging, my mum has her dignity, makes her own choices & is always well presented. I wouldn't want anyone else looking after my mum.

Mum was only here a couple of months before she sadly passed but the care she received was amazing. The staff were all so ultra friendly, caring, compassionate and sensitive. It was like they knew Mum for years and always treated her with the utmost respect. They also enquired after our wellbeing and made sure we were well looked after during Mum's last day as they were so kind and thoughtful. Thank you to everyone at Newgrange.

She always looks immaculate, has a shower every day, and dressed nicely. All the carers go above and beyond their duty.

New Grange is a lovely well run care home.
Spotlessly clean and both the building and garden is very well maintained.
The staff are caring, considerate and very understanding.
Yesterday I attended the Summer Party, organised by the staff. There was live music, dancing, decorations, plenty of food and drink.
All the families were invited to attend too.
All the residents were included in the fun!
The attention to detail was so lovely. It made for a very special afternoon.

The staff are friendly and I feel they know my Dad and understand his behaviours and needs.
