Autumn House Reviews (9)
Over all time Autumn House has 9 reviews.
Carers work hard and try their best to meet residents' needs.
The food was good, kitchen staff took time to chat with residents.
Poor artificial lighting and dull corridors, the garden is nice but needs a parasol to protect vulnerable residents.
Need more meaningful activities to encourage engagement and stimulation. Colouring children's pictures seems to be a favourite activity. Needs some significant changes to improve things.
I cannot recommend this facility highly enough. The staff are super professional, kind and caring; the manager is effective and leads well.
Thank you Lesley for your kind words. We really appreciate your support. It's a pleasure to look after your Uncle and all our other lovely residents.
My dad has lived at Autumn House for almost 2 years now and I cannot fault the care that he receives. The staff are friendly and respectful towards the residents and he always receives whatever he needs. We always receive a warm welcome when we visit and are provided with drinks if needed. We are kept up to date with the care he receives and any changes that take place. We are very glad that we chose Autumn House.
Thank you for your kind words, it's a joy to look after your Dad and share his journey with him and support you too.
My mother-in-law has been at Autumn house for around six months and has settled in well. The staff are very good indeed, they have got her physically fit, I have found them always friendly and caring. The food is good and varied and there are many activities.
My mother-in-law seems to be very happy at Autumn House, she has been there for a few years now. She is well cared for and well looked after. Autumn is most definitely a home from home, we are always made welcome and offered refreshments. All the staff are amazing and genuinely care for them as if they are their own. I am always kept informed of how she is. Autumn House is amazing.
He always has praise for the carers. The staff go out of their way to cater for his food needs.
When we visit we are always welcomed and the home is always clean and tidy.
The daily activities they do for the residents are amazing and when I do visit you are always met with a friendly smile and chat. I am so happy Mum is where she is cared for with love and dedication. Every member of staff are all angels in my eyes.
Thank you for your kind words and your on going support, your all part of our Autumn House family and we love keeping in touch, regards
Very well managed home with very good standard of care. Comfortable, communal and private areas cheerily decorated and well equipped. Staff appear well trained and are very attentive to each resident's need. The key to this home is the happy atmosphere, always something going on with a fun daily activity schedule. All key seasonal events Christmas, Easter etc are celebrated along with each resident's birthday and family members are encouraged to get involved. Family members can also be kept up to date with daily posts on the Autumn House website. Have always been welcomed when visiting and any special requests are usually met. Feel very confident that my mother who has been a resident for approx 1 year, is in a safe, comfortable and happy environment.
Thank you very much for your kind words, your Mum is a pleasure to look after, and we all enjoy seeing you all when you visit. Regards
I found the organisation and welcoming procedure 5 stars, the staff and management were extremely helpful and very kind during this difficult time and settled my mum in with no fuss at all, it feels like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders as I now know my mum is in a safe environment. The difference in my mum is amazing and I would thoroughly recommend this care home. Thank you to all the Autumn House staff, you truly are special people.
Thank you for your kind words, our aim is to make sure that new clients and families feel supported and welcomed into the home. We are really happy that your mum has settled well.
