My mother has been very well cared for in her time at Hale Place. I cannot think of anywhere else I would like my mother to be.

Since mum has been at Hale Place I have seen her thrive and become more outgoing and sociable. I cannot fault the staff nor facilities, as they are very attentive and supportive. There are always a good number of staff around the home, who clearly enjoy what they do and provide a very personal experience. They are also very prompt in advising me of any problems mum may have, regardless of how minor.

The staff at Hale Place Care Solutions are extremely caring and supportive, from even before dad moved in they were keen to answer any questions and ensure that they had done everything possible to help dad adjust and settle in. He is happy and calm when I visit and the atmosphere at the home is always welcoming and positive. All residents seem content. I am pleased with where dad is living.

Such a different set up to the regular "institutional" care homes with an emphasis on helping residents to do as much as they can for as long as they can. The common areas of Hale Place Care Solutions are more like a lovely home than an institution and having the gardens open and available for residents to use when they want (weather permitting) is a huge benefit, such a positive thing for my mother. Having animals on site also makes the place feel like home.
The staff are kind, caring and go the extra mile - the fabulous birthday cakes that are handmade and tailored to each resident are a testament to this. There are social activities like chair dance, a visiting singer, exotic animals that are brought into visit etc. regularly and there are also outings to the local café or garden centre, to a local pub from time to time, boat trips on the Medway and even 10-pin bowling!

I am so glad we found Hale Place, it's really a must to go and see as it's so different!

Exceptional. I have noticed so much difference and improvement in cognitive abilities. This is due to a safe and supportive environment where every need is not just met but exceeded. Resulting in a relaxed, happy, well nourished, well hydrated person. I had no idea that dementia could be improved so much with such specialised and precise care. Thank you.

The care and stimulation provided is outstanding. Mum is treated as a member of a family. She is happy and stimulated, and partakes in all the activities provided. We feel very confident that Mum's daily needs and welfare are met to the highest standard. We are kept informed of any concerns. We believe this care home allows her to live the best possible life.

The care my mum receives here is always outstanding. She is very happy and kept busy with the activities that have been tailored to her interests as well as being able to try new things. Hale Place has a home-from-home feel which helped Mum to settle in when she first moved to Hale Place. Mum is always well dressed and presented even with her nail varnish matching her clothing, which she loves to tell us about. The garden and pets are a great asset and it is lovely seeing Mum in the garden enjoying the pets, birds and plants. All of the staff are very kind and patient and the home is very well run. I would not want Mum to be living anywhere else and would have no hesitation in recommending it.

Our family will be forever grateful for the care, inclusion, dignity and also enjoyment Mum has experienced during her time at Hale Place.

My nan is always so happy on my visits, so many activities I have seen on visits and she loves it. I loved the cake made for my nan on her birthday, it was so personalised to her which she loved. Hale Place staff from carers, cleaners and management are so friendly, and welcoming and make you feel at home.

It is always nice to visit Hale Place and meet the friendly staff and my well cared for mother-in-law. Personal care/hygiene are priorities in Hale Place, my relative is well dressed and turned out. While the facilities are good and recently improved with rooms freshened up and new furnishings, I am surprised that level access to the garden, shower or building is not prioritised given the walking and sight difficulties of residents, including my mother-in-law. Home-based activities are carried out at set times and they are enjoyed by many. As a visitor, it would be wonderful to see more activities out on a table (puzzles, other games for people with cognitive loss) which residents and visitors could dip in and out of together. My visits have coincided with some lunch, dinner and snack times. I am surprised that the nutritional value especially of snacks is so poor. A high proportion of the food provided is falling into the category of ultra-processed food, and offering more diverse fresh/nutritionally valuable foods and snacks would be more appropriate for this age group. Overall, the family feels fortunate to have my mother-in-law in Hale Place and is pleased that management and staff try hard to offer quality care.

My wife is being looked after at Hale Place Care Solutions in Kent. I have found the staff extremely friendly and helpful. The daily schedule includes many trips out to lots of locations: ie. river trips, beach trips, shopping trips, garden centre trips etc. Having tried several care homes in the area over the last couple of years I am pleasantly surprised to find this outstanding level of care.
