What a wonderful place to live! The staff are caring, permanent and well trained. The home is very well run and we have had no hesitation in recommending it to anyone who asks. We consider ourselves extremely lucky to have found somewhere for Mum to live that treats residents and family as individuals. Mum is contented and well looked after and we are delighted to see this every time we visit.

We had to make the difficult decision to move Mum into a care home in April and we are so pleased to have found Hale Place, as soon as we visited we knew this was the right place for Mum. It is a small, clean and friendly care home with a homely feel, run by a team of staff that clearly have a special understanding of how to care for people with dementia.
Mum has her own room with an en-suite and we were able to put some personal items in her room to help her feel at home. We were very anxious about how Mum would react on moving in day but with the support of the very professional and caring staff, everything went smoothly. Mum was made to feel very welcome and has settled in well and is very happy. She especially enjoys time spent with the animals.

When we visit we always receive a warm welcome from the staff and they are always available to support us and answer any concerns we might have. We are happy knowing that Mum is safe and well cared for and highly recommend Hale Place.

I have been visiting a very dear friend of mine at Hale Place Care Home for the past two years. On all of my visits I have received a very warm welcome and my friend, who is now almost 95, has expressed to me how much she enjoys being at Hale Place. She has a room with an ensuite WC and I have observed how competent, caring and helpful all the staff are. Since the pandemic occurred Hale Place has provided a small conservatory type hub for one visitor meetings, which is adjacent to a small garden with two rabbits and two chickens and a wonderful lodge building in the grounds which is so family-friendly and allows up to six visitors. I would deem the facilities second to none. The atmosphere is so warm and friendly and reassuring. There are plans for outdoor activities in the gardens once the weather becomes warmer. My visit yesterday to her, with a longstanding friend of hers, was a real joy. I couldn't recommend Hale Place more highly to anyone needing a home from home care.

After the tricky year we have all experienced with Covid, I was delighted when I went in to visit my nan to see the vast amount of changes, made to allow safe visiting for us all by building two brand new visiting areas, especially the new activities lodge that the manager has told me that we can use to throw a birthday party when Covid restrictions apply. Also the addition of the pets corner, my nan has always loved animals.

I couldn't have felt more safe and happy to be back at Hale Place. Whilst other businesses may have been struggling, Hale Place has most definitely been thriving! I could not recommend this home enough.

My relative has been at Hale Place Care Solutions for some time now and with the Covid restriction over the last year I had found it very difficult, but, with the daily updates from Hale Place management it really helped to ease the stress of not seeing them. The home has gone above and beyond to make sure our relatives are safe and well looked after.

In recent times the whole care sector have been in turmoil. That being said all the management team and staff at Hale Place have gone above and beyond all of our expectations. We have been receiving weekly reports and updates on all that’s happening regarding the efforts to prevent an outbreak of COVID -19. The office staff have been assisting zoom calls between me and mum which has been the highlight for me and my family throughout the pandemic.

A massive hats off to all.

This was a very difficult decision to move Mum to a care home in the current pandemic. We were extremely concerned with not being able to properly view the home, but we really shouldn't have worried. Although mum has only been in Hale Place for a few weeks, the improvement in her is beyond words. She seems very settled and happy. The staff and managers are wonderful and nothing is a problem. They are all very caring and professional. They have many activities, which mum loves, particularly the singing and dancing and we cannot wait for when we are all free and Mum can go on the outings with them all, she will love it. We, as a family, would 100% recommend Hale Place. So happy we found them.

My husband arrived at Hale Place Nursing Home, East Peckham on the 10th May 2019. All the staff have made him very welcome, he now is part of a very happy family. When I visit, I am always greeted with a smiling face. The nursing home is spotlessly clean and tidy. They have regular entertainment who visit, also many trips out in their minibus. One memorable occasion was a visit to Hever Castle, the invitation was for all at Hale Place, and family like me were also invited. All staff and management are so kind and patient. I have seen in these last months a great improvement in my husband. Very kind and professional management and staff.

What a happy place this care home is. The staff are unfailing kind and patient. The atmosphere is always calm and the residents enjoy free access to the pretty, secluded garden. They have a cat and even two dogs and the elderly folk have many stimulating and interesting trips out for lunch and trips along the river on a bot to feed the swans. My mother feels safe there and is completely contented - what more could I ask?

Our Mum has been a resident for 2 years. She is very happy and content. Hale Place has a very homely feel. The staff are very friendly, caring and welcoming. All residents are treated with respect, compassion and dignity, it’s like being part of a big family. It has a great safe garden which is encouraged and used by residents, and visitors. You can visit at anytime, no need to notify them first....which to me means that they have nothing to hide. The staff are very approachable and will answer any questions or concerns that you might have.

Upon my first visit to see my Gran, I felt totally at ease and welcomed by the amazing team at Hale Place. They go above and beyond to make everyone, residents and visitors alike to feel at home with their warmth and care.
My Gran didn't have a very nice journey before finding this little treasure of a place, being left to her own devices at her previous 'care home'.
At Hale Place, there's always lots going on to keep her active mentally and physically.
The beautiful gardens are her new favourite place.

My family and I cannot express our gratitude enough to such a wonderful place.

Many thanks for everything that you did for my mother during the six years that she spent at Hale Place.

You not only offered her a secure, comfortable and homely place in which to live, you also ensured that she was always wonderfully well-cared for even as she became increasingly unable to look after herself.

And you combined great personal kindness with a professional approach to the health issues that often accompany dementia, spotting and dealing with them before they could cause Mum distress.

For myself, I will always remember the warm welcome that I received every time I visited, from people I came to know as a second family in what became a second home.

Again, many thanks to you all for what you did for Mum and for the hard work you continue to put into creating somewhere as special as Hale Place.

My wonderful mum was living with the anxiety connected to Alzheimer's. Since being at Hale Place we have seen a transformation - she is relaxed and happy and has made new friends in both the other residents and staff. The accommodation and ethos of Hale Place is fantastic, exactly what we needed to assist mum during her decline due to Alzheimer's disease.

Fantastic care, all the residents seem extremely contented and calm. There are lots of activities and every effort is made to keep up interest. The rooms are very comfortable and it feels like 'home', not an institution. The food is excellent and prepared on site. I can't fault this home in any way and can't recommend it highly enough.
