Upton House is situated in secure gardens and grounds and provides dementia, Alzheimer's and EMI care. This large Georgian house is in the pretty village of Worth, on the outskirts of Sandwich.

Upton enjoys a reputation that is a reflection of the ability, dedication and professionalism of its well motivated and highly trained staff.

The home has been established and run by the same family for over 40 years and offers spacious accommodation for 20 people with dementia.

Activities available include Art Sessions, Gardening, Music Therapy and Reminiscence.

Since my grandad's dementia diagnosis at the beginning of this year, he has rapidly declined. Upton House seemed like the perfect place for him to be in. It is friendly and all of the staff are approachable. My grandad is happy and has settled in well with the help of the fantastic staff.

This is the third home that my mother has been a resident in and the care and facilities have so far excelled the others. Although sadly my mother is unable to appreciate this, it is much easier to visit my mother in such a better environment. There is a lovely garden in which my mother can sit, we
have had family days in the garden with the famous bbq. Staff are always welcoming, friendly and understand my mother's needs.

My lovely mum suffers from Vascular Dementia and after living with us for 25 years, came to Upton in December 2018. Upton has been so good for her, she's put on weight, even occasionally picked up her pencils and done some drawing something which she hadn't managed to do for four or more years. The
staff here are brilliant and very kind, despite my mother often being fractious, demanding and difficult, they've been able to make her much happier than she was at home.

Upton House is such a lovely place. The residents are well cared for and are happy. The staff are really caring people and have time to spend with everyone. My Aunt is very happy there. The staff love her and treat them all like family.

Mym has now been in Upton House for 2 years, 4 months. We are extremely happy with her level of care. The staff are wonderful and her surroundings are home from home. We are pleased with the number of activities and we know she really enjoys the singing afternoons.

My husband has only been a resident for four weeks so far I am very satisfied with his care. The staff are cheerful kind and attentive and I am very impressed. The home has a friendly happy atmosphere and I would not hesitate to recommend.

Staf very friendly and good. Management very good and helpful. Staff always have a joke with my Mum, she seems happy in herself, well looked after. My Mum has moments of being bossy but gets on with staff very well. Lovely surroundings, have different activities at certain times and decorate for Halloween,
bonfire night, Christmas, Valentines etc. BBQ in the garden in the summer. A warm and friendly environment.

I am very impressed with the excellent care and attention my dad receives from the whole team of dedicated carers at Upton House.
There is always someone on hand to attend to his needs.
The food at mealtimes are of a consistently high standard and there is a wonderful family atmosphere which is evident
on my frequent visits to see dad.
There is a lovely feeling of calmness about the whole place and this had undoubtedly helped to settle dad and make him more relaxed and happy in such a welcoming environment and friendly surroundings.

We are completely happy and very pleased the care my mother-in-law receives. The home, the surroundings and staff are wonderful. The entertainment provided and food that is all home cooked is presented very well. We are always welcome with a smile and happily allowed in anytime.

After two years at home with 24 hour care, the time had come for my mother to receive care home care. My cousin and I had visited many homes in the area and decided on Upton House, Worth, Deal.
My mother was welcomed by all the friendly staff and settled in. Her mobility was encouraged and immediately
improved. I am very impressed with the appetising menu delivered daily and the activities that are organised regularly for all the residents. My mother has been in Upton House now for 9 months and seems very settled, happy and content, which was always my goal.
