My mother came to Westerham Place over a year ago, and she has been very happy here. The staff are excellent, and they have shown great dedication in looking after my mother, and both she and her family are all very grateful for the wonderful care and kindness she has received. We are always greeted with a smile, and there is a genuine warmth within the home. Westerham Place has a very homely feel and is a lovely building set in attractive grounds. We know that mother is in a safe pair of hands which is a great comfort to her family. I would have no hesitation in recommending this care home.
Thank you so much for your kind words, which I shall pass on to the team here at Westerham Place.
We have always been very happy with the wonderful care given to our mum and the compassion and patience shown by staff at Westerham Place. They always work very hard but over the past few months, they have done an amazing job keeping the residents entertained, reassured and safe from Covid-19. We are so very grateful. Thank you so much from all the family.
Thank you so much for your lovely comments. I will pass these on to our team here at Westerham Place.
My wife and I feel very fortunate to have found this care home for my mother. She is very happy and comfortable. The staff have been exceptional in their care, especially during the last few months of the Coronavirus pandemic. We have nothing but admiration for the way they have looked after my mother and would have no hesitation in recommending this care home.
Thank you so much for your kind words. I shall pass them onto the team here at Westerham Place.
I am very grateful for the care given to my father for the last two years of his life. The wonderful caring staff of Westerham Place became like an extended family to us. We would visit my father every week for afternoon tea and the staff always greeted us warmly and would bring us tea and delicious cake or biscuits while we chatted together in the comfort of the conservatory. We could see their genuine love and care for my father, expressed with a winning mix of affection and gentle humour. After the death of my mother and with my father's declining ability to cope, Westerham Place became like a second home to us. We had confidence that Dad was secure and well looked after. A real strength is the consistency of the staff team, together with compassionate and wise leadership. There was a calm and caring atmosphere in which all residents were made to feel at home. My father was clearly content. He received wonderful care right to the end. We are very grateful for all Westerham Place did.
Thank you so much for your lovely review of our home and for your kind words, which I shall pass on to all of the team.
From the day we first visited this home we were made to feel very welcome. We are very confident that our mother is receiving the best of care and nothing is too much trouble. The home is always clean and tidy - no smells and the staff are happy to chat and let us know how she has been. Would recommend it to anyone.
My Aunt is very happy here and I cannot praise the staff enough.
The staff provide a warm, caring experience that feels like home for my Aunt. Thank you.
Thank you so much for your kind words. I shall pass on all of your lovely comments to the team here at Westerham Place.
My grandmother passed recently but I cannot state how wonderfully everybody looked after her up to the end. Not only my Nan but also the other members of the family all commented on how amazing the staff had been. How professional, compassionate and just friendly they all were whilst we were visiting and being by her bedside. It's incredibly comforting to know she passed peacefully and in the best possible care. Thank you.
Thank you so very much for your kind words. It was a pleasure to look after such a lovely lady. She will be missed by all of the team here at Westerham Place.
All the staff gave my father wonderful care and attention which made his time spent at the home enjoyable and provided him with a sense of security knowing he was in good hands. I would certainly recommend Westerham Place to anyone who is in need of placing a relative in a care home for all the reasons mentioned above and the high level of care he received at all times.
Thank you so much for your kind review Paul. I shall pass on your comments to the team. Dad was thought of very fondly by staff and he will be missed, as will his family.
My Grandma lived here for nearly 20 years. She died in March 2018 having celebrated her 102nd birthday the previous September.
The staff became her family and they looked after her beautifully with care and compassion at all times. They always chatted with her throughout the course of the day (and night at times) and it was evident that they saw her as a person and not just a resident. The food was fantastic and nutritious. Family and friends were always welcomed. Grandma always looked lovely with manicured nails and her hair done regularly in the salon. Her clothes were kept clean and we were always kept well informed if she needed anything.
Entertainment arranged for the residents was always relevant and fun and the staff made a special effort around birthdays and Xmas – Grandma would rather spend Xmas there with friends than with family!
The home is always kept very clean and there are never any nasty smells. It is a home in every sense and I would have no qualms in recommending it.
Thank you so much for your lovely review Sarah. It was a pleasure to care for your Grandmother and she is missed by all of the staff that knew her.
Beautiful setting.
Doesn't feel like a care home.
Thank you for your kind review. I shall pass your comments onto our team.
Having viewed other homes for my husband this was by far the best and I have been very pleased with the home. The staff are lovely, patient and very kind. So really can't fault the place.

Westerham Place is a joy, as my mum loves living here. Every staff member shows love and care. My mum likes living here and enjoys the company of the other residents. The activity programme and organisation is exceptional.

The home is clean, warm and well furbished. The staff are welcoming and very caring of the residents. I have formed a very favourable impression of the home and the standard of care given to my friend.
Thank you for your kind words. I shall pass your comments onto our staffing team here at Westerham Place.
Having found two previous care homes for my mother which were unsatisfactory for financial and service reasons, Westerham Place was actually recommended by a family friend who was employed in Social Services and referred us to the latest care reports for Westerham Place. Mum has been at the home now for two years and is very happy there. She tells us she is never lonely and we know the staff are caring, respectful, and considerate in the way they deal with all situations. The home is well appointed, always clean and mum's bedroom and bathroom are quite spacious and comfortable. It's a great comfort to our family that she is in a secure and safe home, well cared for and happy.
Thank you for the review of our home. I shall pass on your kind words to the team here at Westerham Place.
Westerham Place is a wonderful care home. You know as soon as you walk into the home how much love and care the staff give to the residents. My mum is extremely cared for in every aspect. Nothing is too much trouble. The home is very clean and the rooms well fitted. I could not wish for anything better for my mum.
Thank you for your review. It is so nice to hear that you are happy with the care that is shown to your Mum. I shall pass on your kind comments to all of the team here at Westerham Place.
We were always made to feel welcome and were kept informed of any issues.
Generally felt it was a well-run home.
My father was in care here for 2 and a half years. I can only speak highly of our experience. All staff were extremely kind, every need was met. The rooms are very nice, all having ensuite facilities. Visitors are always welcome and next of kin always kept informed regarding their loved ones care. My father's end of life experience cannot be faulted. He was made extremely comfortable and all the family was welcome to stay. They truly looked after us as well as dad.
Thank you so much for your kind words Gill. It was a privilege to look after your Dad and it was lovely getting to know his lovely family too.
Food unimaginative but regular.
Coffee or Tea whenever required.
Exercise sessions each week.
Warmth maintained.
Visitors welcomed.
Care has been very good on the whole. We have had an incident where wrong medication was given which was investigated and dealt with appropriately. Admin, however, is very hit and miss. Waited ten months to have three pictures put up. Took months to get incontinence pads sorted satisfactorily during which time we had to provide them.
Thank you for highlighting your concerns, we are pleased that the issues you raised have been addressed. We always appreciate feedback because we need to address any concerns people may have. We have asked the Manager to meet with you to ensure you are satisfied with the service your mother receives and if there is anything else we can assist with.
His room was attractive with double aspect windows, plenty of room and with it's own bathroom. He was able to have his own pictures on the walls and could have had his own furniture if he had wanted. The public spaces were pleasant and spacious.
