Aquarius Care Home

My brother has lived at Aquarius Care Home for the past 16 months. I would like to once again thank the staff for their incredible hard work and everything they continue to do for him. They are kind, attentive, helpful and have gone above and beyond in accommodating his needs. His room is always immaculately clean and tidy. Aquarius is a homely, happy environment and my family rest easy knowing my brother is so well cared for. We would have no hesitation in recommending it.

Aquarius is a lovely house the staff go above and beyond to care for residents. My sister celebrated her 80th birthday and they did all they could to make it a special day and welcome family and friends always friendly and helpful.

I would highly recommend Aquarius to all my family and friends.

I feel assured that Mum is being cared for well and that gives peace of mind.

I am so happy to write this review. Aquarius Care Home has been fantastic. My friend was very anxious as you can imagine to move into a care home. With this in mind, the staff at every level were amazing. The level of care given to my friend is outstanding, nothing is to much trouble. The home is well maintained, always clean. Great homemade food. Would highly recommended this home.

Aquarius Care Home is always welcoming, clean and tidy. Resident's rooms vary in size but seem to be spacious. Staff are friendly and approachable, so if you have any queries or concerns they will help as best as they can get or get someone to help you. The food at Aquarius Care Home is good and freshly cooked daily. Events and parties are held regularly. The most recent being the King's coronation, friends and family welcome to join in. Residents are friendly and I'm welcomed with a cheery good morning.

Mum was only a resident for four months, she had an end-of-life prognosis. She went downhill very quickly and I can't fault the staff with the care and dignity they showed her. The only reason I have scored the rooms down is that Mum came in at very short notice and her room really needed some TLC but this in no way diminishes the experience we had at Aquarius Care Home. A huge thank you to them all.

We were very impressed with the kindness and support shown by all the members of staff to my sister, also to my husband and I. We were encouraged to contact the home whenever we had any queries and found the staff were at pains to ensure us that they were happy to help. The home was bright, clean and welcoming and we would recommend it as a very caring place to stay.

As a visitor of one of the residents, I have always been welcomed in a kind way. My friend is well cared for to a high standard. All staff and management are always attentive, caring, civil, and compassionate. The standard of care is high level. Very homely. I am very impressed and would definitely recommend to others.

Since Mum has been at Aquarius I have been extremely impressed by the way Mum is looked after. Also, she is extremely well-kempt and the home itself is.

The care, patience, and service which is given to my relative is greatly appreciated. She is accepted as her own person, her idiosyncrasies are coped with and the staff are her friends. There will always be something for her to have a “moan” about, at present the number of dementia residents is it. But life goes on and she talks of Aquarius as home…and it is. As a relative I am fully supportive of the management and staff, I know that my relative is safe and cared for.

When looking for a care home for my mum it was one of the hardest things that I have had to do. From the very first day, mum was made to feel very welcome and she settled in very quickly. As she had lived on her own for many years she was pleased to have people around who made her feel happy and safe. It is so good to know that mum is being looked after 24 hours a day so well by all the management and care staff teams.

I haver peace of mind knowing she is in a safe and welcoming environment.

I can now re-visit Mum and enjoy time with her.

I am a frequent visitor to the Aquarius Care Home and always get a friendly welcome by the staff who come across as professional and cheerful. Having tried the food served, it is tasty and fresh and to a high standard. Overall I cannot fault this small friendly care home.

After doing everything possible to keep Mum at home including several carers a day visiting, it became apparent that it was no longer safe to do so. She also had several UTIs which needed hospital stays and left her often very confused. My brother lives very local to the care home and had heard very good things about the care that was given. The whole family are so pleased and grateful to the staff for the way she has been kept safe from Covid-19 and looked after. She is very happy there.

I cannot praise these people enough. They are so dedicated and kind. They are extremely well organised and everything is up to date and pre-empted. They retain good heartedness at the most challenging of times and show the utmost professionalism. Mum has had a bumpy ride and they managed to settle her within days and this contentment has remained the case ever since. They act quickly when faced with any decisions and mum’s wellbeing is the top priority. I appreciate them immensely.

We chose Aquarius for our Grandmother's new home due to the great reputation Aquarius has in the local area. Their reputation exceeded itself regarding my grandmother. The staff at Aquarius have gone above and beyond in every aspect. During these very difficult times, nothing has been too much trouble. Aquarius whilst doing a fantastic job keeping the home free from Covid has been fantastic at reassuring us as a family and helping us to maintain a relationship with our grandmother. FaceTime, phone calls and window visits have all been accessible, constant updates from the home nothing has been too much trouble. My grandmother is very happy and settled into Aquarius that too is a credit to the fantastic staff and the home from home environment Aquarius has provided. We can not thank Aquarius enough for all they have been doing and continue to do. Fantastic Home.

This is the most wonderful care home I have ever been into. The staff were extremely professional when shown around. My friend instantly took a liking to the home. It is fresh, modern with a feel for the elderly as well, no horrible smells, room and communal areas are decorated to a very high standard. The food quality has been given a 5-star rating and is absolutely fabulous. The detail and time taken for my friend's care was just amazing and nothing is too much of an issue. I have every faith that my friend will be very well looked after without any worries.
