My uncle has tried a few home in the past year, so we have experience to make comparisons. This is by far the nicest place for my uncle to live and he's very happy. It gives you great peace of mind to know that all his needs are addressed and he is in a caring environment. The staff are always happy
and can't do enough to make my uncle feel at home. The home does not have the feeling of a plush hotel but instead has a really homely, clean feel about it - Just how it should be, a home from home.

Lovely homely residential care.
My brother settled immediately.
Carers and loving and caring. No changes in staff unlike other homes he has stayed in he says the food is fantastic.
Lovely outings for the residents.
Always calm and stress free during visits.

My mother moved into Oxenford on 7th May after a couple of 'trial' respite stays. She has been made to feel so welcome - and has settled in quickly, feeling very content and happy. She loves all of the many activities, the food which is absolutely superb (I know because I stayed for lunch on one of
my weekly visits) and the staff who go over and above what might reasonably be expected to make their residents happy, comfortable and entertained / occupied. Oxenford is very special. It is happy and uplifting and small enough to have a nice family feel. As a family we couldn't be happier.

I would like to thank the staff of Oxenford for they way they cared for my mother in law for the last fie years of her life, especially her last week where she was turned frequently and kept comfortable during an unresponsive and sleepy stage. They gave us peace of kind knowing she was in such a happy

The home is clean, happy and cheerful. My mother is talked to and the staff are attentive, kind and caring. They have got to know my mother very quickly and are aware of her likes and dislikes. She is happy and calm when I visit her and is very fond of the staff.

My mum had 5 weeks of respite care this winter at Oxenford. They looked after her really well, we are all very happy with everything. All the staff were super helpful and did all they could to help her settle in and feel welcome. Recommended.

The care provided by all staff was way beyond expectations as was the cleanliness of the entire property. Mum was always beautifully dressed and hair neatly set. Despite her limited mobility, she was even taken out on trips. As her dementia deteriorated, the staff and management did all they could to
accommodate her. Eventually, she had to be relocated to enable high-level nursing care. On her death, they even sent representatives to her funeral. What an amazing team.

My Mother has been a resident of Oxenford House for over a year.
She is very happy with the level of care and support provided. My Mother particularly enjoys the daily exercise classes and the various entertainment provided.
She frequently remarks on the quality of the meals, which is significant
as she has been recognised as a very high-quality family cook for over 50 years!

The staff are supportive and caring to my mother. I know that mother feels secure and cared for although she can not always communicate it.
They are also supportive of the family of the resident.
The home cooked food is important, ensuring that they have a balanced diet.
They may not have all the
facilities that some homes have but a lot of the residents will never use them.
It's the care and support and that the residents are treated with dignity.

The entire staff team work tirelessly and cheerfully to offer the residents the very best quality of life. They create an atmosphere that is welcoming and homely, feels safe and is comfortable.
Our cousin, who needed palliative care at the end of her life, was looked after in the kindest, most thoughtful
and calmly professional way. We were also very well supported over this difficult period.
We can't thank Abbeyfield Oxenford Society enough for all they do every day!

I can't speak highly enough of the care my mother receives at Oxenford House. All the staff are so kind and caring, as well as being efficient and professional. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they give top priority to residents' needs and wishes. They have created a really 'family feel' to
the home and take every opportunity to celebrate birthdays, Christmas and national events. A wide range of activities and entertainment is offered every week - from craft/cooking to visiting entertainers and animals/birds brought in for residents to hold and stroke. There's a Scrabble Club, dominoes, bingo, quizzes and jigsaw puzzles, as well as regular excursions to local places of interest eg garden centres or shopping trips or a wheel or walk around the village. I have every confidence that my very elderly mum is in safe hands, night and day, and she has been happy from her first day, eighteen months ago. Some staff have been there for years, and all work happily together.

From the moment my mother started daycare to the day she became a resident, mum was made so welcome. The process was dealt with care and compassion. Mum settled in so well and is so at home there. After looking after mum for the past 3 years it is such a relief to see her happy and well cared for in
a safe and happy enviroment. It is lovely to see photos of the activities. Thank you to all the staff for looking after her.

A wonderful, caring atmosphere with a real family feel - the staff have taken the time to get to know my mother really well and understand what makes her tick. She can be awkward, and they take it all in their stride, responding with humour and good grace. They have been expertly attentive when she
is unwell, and it makes me feel very happy to know she is in such good hands. The home is light and clean, and there is a range of daily activities for those who wish to join in, as well as day trips and outings from time to time.

I feel staff listen to my concerns and where possible, act to address them or reassure me. I am treated with respect and the staff are always cheerful, friendly and encouraging.
I believe there is a good relationship between the staff and all who provide medical care to the residents.
Staff always
act professionally and are readily available to the residents and their relatives.
This is a very safe environment at Oxenford House. I feel very content and safe here.

My mother has been in Oxenford for almost 2 years and I've been really happy with the care from the start. The carers are amazing, they continue to show great kindness, patience and care. There's also a good deal of laughter. A great range of activities are provided, not all of which mum wants to join
in on but she's given the freedom to make her own decisions - even though she probably misses out on some fun! They had a lovely visit to the seaside in the summer which she still talks about. I'm always given a warm welcome when I arrive and they put on some lovely events for residents and family. There's a very happy atmosphere in the Home. There seems to be little change in the staff which must reflect on good and happy management. My mum's words probably sum it up 'I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.'

Mum has now been at The Abbeyfield Oxenford for five months following her transfer from a nursing home, and she has settled in so well. She is fortunate to be one of the more active residents so can make full use of all the facilities and activities on offer, from what I see whenever I visit, it is
heartwarming. The residents are all treated with kindness, thoughtfulness and dignity. All the staff are cheerful and friendly. The home is spotless and sweet-smelling. The food is varied appealing and much praised. Her room is lovely and there is an excellent activity programme. It is a very welcoming place in all respects.

Mum has been a permanent resident at Oxenford House for 5 years. She quickly settled in, thanks to the staff, and has really enjoyed participating in the many activities on offer (particularly musical). As her health has gradually deteriorated, with the development of dementia, the staff have excelled
in providing increasing levels of care and reassurance to her. Mum has enjoyed the food and the lovely garden. I have been struck by the endless patience of the carers and their exceptional kindness to her. I would fully recommend Oxenford House to anyone seeking a welcoming, clean and safe environment for their loved ones.

Mum has been a resident at The Abbeyfield Oxenford Society for almost six months and during that time her Carers have been wonderful. Without exception they are kind, friendly and have endless patience. The home is always clean, fresh and welcoming. The management is very efficient and there are
