My mum had a regrettably short but very happy stay at Howards the staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for my mum. I would totally recommend the home and staff for their all around care and compassion.

I have visited our friend on several occasions over the past year and always found the staff to be friendly and caring. I like the fact that the atmosphere is homely because I imagine that the home only facilitates around twenty residents. The garden party at the end of August was a great success for friends and staff alike.

My mum came to Howards on respite care, but loved it at the home so much she decided to stay permanently. The staff and care were excellent right up to her death a year later. The activities they provided were varied, and the days out were well thought out. A very good experience.

We could not have asked for anywhere better for my aunts final years Howard's provide a caring safe environment for all of there residents. We were amazed how many activities they put on for the residents which shows they were prepared to go that extra bit to keep their high standards and everyone happy. Howards is friendly, caring and provides a happy and homely environment for the residents. The management team are excellent and the staff are professional, compassionate and provide a high level of care. My parents were extremely well cared for during their time at Howards and were treated with dignity and respect by the team. After visiting, I could always feel reassured that Howards was the right place for my mum and dad. Howards is like a family rather than a business. From the fun activities to the excellent home cooked food. I can't fault Howards and would happily recommend them to anyone.

I visited Howards for their annual Christmas party for the residents. As usual I was warmly welcomed and was shown into the main reception room to sit with my friend. There were other residents and friends there and the atmosphere was very happy. We were both given a mince pie and a cup of tea while Christmas songs were played.

My mother has been in Howards residential home since the beginning of June. I have found the staff to be very kind and tolerant of their patients and looked after my mother very well indeed. The food is well-cooked, and the rooms are clean and tidy. The home and the people who work there are a tribute to what living in a care home should be like.

I cannot praise the staff at Howards highly enough. The care they have provided to my mother in the last three years has been consistently excellent. There is a such a friendly homely atmosphere and the overall impression is one of a big happy family. Mum was treated with compassion and dignity all the time, and she felt really cared for. I have no hesitation is recommending Howards Residential Home to anybody.

My mum became a resident at Howards a few weeks ago after a long spell in hospital. She originally came just for respite, but she has decided that she would like to stay permanently. From day one, Mum has been made very welcome and has made lots of new friends. When we visit Mum, the staff are all very welcoming and very polite and respectful, and refreshments are always offered on our arrival. The manager and her wonderful staff go above and beyond in their jobs, and my mum has told me herself that she wants for absolutely nothing. This has given myself and my family great peace of mind. All we ever wanted was for our mum/nanny to be treated with respect, dignity and compassion, and I can honestly say that these wishes are respected. It also gives us peace of mind that Covid restrictions are in place. I cannot praise the manager and her staff enough for the warm welcome and high level of care that they are giving my mum. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you all so very much.

Sadly my mother had a very short time in the home, and her health rapidly declined. From the very first visit to the home, we knew Howards was the right place for Mum. Throughout her stay, all of the team demonstrated huge compassion, care and kindness to Mum. They were totally professional and on top of her changing needs as well as always making our family welcome and giving us support. We could not have wished for more.

An elderly neighbour moved into Howards a few years ago when she was unable to cope with looking after herself and her house. I visit her fairly regularly and have always found the staff very friendly and caring.

To the best of my knowledge, they have looked after my friend very well, taking her to hospital visits, hairdressers and local outings for tea. There is always a warm and friendly welcome when I visit.
