  • Visitors welcome at the Home at any time. However, Nova House respects the fact that residents should receive guests at times to suit them, and of course they always have the right to decline to see anybody if they so wish. Nova House encourages family members and friends to visit, and all that is asked is that they should sign in and out of the Visitor’s Book (kept in the Entrance Hallway) for reasons of fire safety. If visiting guests would like to join loved ones for a meal then this can be arranged. Please arrange this with the Manager.

Parking

  • Free parking for a number of vehicles is available at the front of the home.

My aunt was a respite resident for 6 weeks. She enjoyed the excellent lunches, delicious evening soups and the personal attention from the kitchen staff.

Visiting animals is a wonderful initiative and she loved seeing kittens in March and bottle fed lambs in April. Despite her reservations, she soon settled as the staff from cleaners to manager were so caring and thoughtful. Thank you for looking after her.

My dear mother passed away peacefully on the 22nd December 2018, she spent 20 months at Nova House, she was treated with respect and kindness and being a very quiet, shy lady she was very happy and comfortable. For my part I was able to visit and was made so welcome I became part of the home too, which I’m grateful for as I could still be involved with my mum as much as I wished.

The staff management, carers, kitchen and maintenance were all so lovely to us. I can thoroughly recommend this home thank you all.

Nova House is a really lovely care home in a delightful traditional house, with a wonderful friendly atmosphere. My aunt was in Nova House for two and a half years and from the day she arrived felt very much at home.

The staff are very caring and considerate. I would have no doubts in recommending this home for a loved one.

My husband was cared for by Nova House from March 2014 - February 2018. He was very well looked after by well trained and very caring staff. He enjoyed a good relationship with all of them. There were lovely outings which I also went on. Good entertainment and well cooked food. I was invited to join meals various times and found them to be very tasty and well balanced. I don't think I would have found a better place for his last four years.

My mother's care requirements have changed - that is the only reason she is moving from Nova. Nova has been excellent for my mother and for us. We have been reassured that mother has been safe, secure and well looked after. My mother has enjoyed her time in Seaford, particularly being able to visit the seaside in the summer months.

My mother was under the care of the manager and his team for the past 19 months. She passed away peacefully, comfortably and pain-free on the 12th of May 2017.

It is no wonder that places in Nova House are seldom free. A fantastic environment, true care and commitment for all clients in a home that truly feels like home. The whole team are to be applauded for their relentless effort and unwavering professionalism. Thanks to all of you.

My Mother-in-Law has been in several care homes in Seaford for respite care with varying degrees of satisfaction. When the time care for her to be in permanent care, we were so fortunate there was a space at Nova House.

Her care there has been excellent, the degree of commitment and kindness from the staff is amazing. Such a high standard of professionalism from all the staff who show a genuine care to all their residents.

We cannot thank you enough, thanks to the kitchen staff too for the cups of tea and kindness, and the food always looked lovely!

The Manager and the staff were truly wonderful with my dad and he enjoyed his time there immensely. I cannot fault their care of dad at all. Dad loved the food, the activities (especially the singers) and the surroundings and the addition of the deck meant that, during the summer, he was able to spend a lot of days outside which he thoroughly enjoyed. It's situated in a lovely part of Seaford and is within walking distance to shops and to the beachfront which my dad and I enjoyed our walks along greatly. A wonderful place and I would strongly recommend Nova to any individuals or their families.

Welcoming and light hearted ambiance created by all the staff and manager. Moving Mum to this home was a major step for her and the family! Any contact made with the home (by e-mail, telephone or in person) was met with efficiency and kindness reassuring us that we made the best choice. They follow implicitly the essential care standards for the elderly. Her room was spacious, clean and fresh in décor with a modern en-suite. When parents are living in the sunset of their years, you worry what is the best decision to make. I cannot recommend better than Nova House in Seaford, our childhood home town. See for yourself at their Summer Fete on Sunday August 16th - contact the home for details.
