Peasmarsh Place

Lovely people, lovely place and lovely food. My mother would never actually have been happy in a care home, but she does seem comfortable and content, and very well looked after. Everyone seems to treat her as an individual - it really doesn't have the feel of an 'institution' and they constantly go the extra mile to take care of her. Thank you so much.

The Home is always clean and tidy. It would be difficult to find another with this service level.

My mother is very happy with the level of care and the attention she receives. Enough involvement to look after her needs without being too intrusive. Peasmarsh Place Care Home is also very good at informing me should any problems arise and they keep me updated as to Mum's condition. Keep up the good work.

It gives me peace of mind knowing that Mum is being very well cared for at Peasmarsh Place and I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone looking for quality residential care.

Peasmarsh is an excellent care home. It exceeds all our expectations with its high professional standards, levels of care, kindness and sensitivity; its proactive thinking and acting on behalf of the residents, and its constant communication with us - the family.

Our relation's needs have been constantly changing and staff at Peasmarsh has been continuously supportive, helpful and creative in giving our relation the best possible care. The food is excellent, nutritious and varied.

We feel deeply grateful for the true home it has become for our relative.

The only areas for change are the food which she said was rather stodgy - although she loved the homemade cakes at coffee and tea! She doesn’t feel ready to stay full time yet although when she does need constant care in the future she has told me she’d like it to be at Peasmarsh.

My step-father has been a resident at Peasmarsh Place for 15 months. It has taken him time to accept Peasmarsh Place as home as he did not want to be in any residential home. Now, with a lot of support from all the staff, he is settled and speaks very highly of Peasmarsh Place. I have observed how the staff have and continue to, provide a high level of care to meet his changing needs. The manager and senior care staff are easily contactable and work in complete partnership with my step-father and myself. It is a testament to the manager and her team’s hard work that my step-father and residents have been protected from Covid throughout the last 15 months. From my experience and my step-father’s continued well-being (against increasing health needs), I would happily recommend Peasmarsh Place and I would like to say a big thank you to the staff for all their continued care and support given to my step-father.

The manager and the staff that I know understand the meaning of the word "carer". They are very kind, patient and considerate to residents treating them with great respect and arranging many activities to keep them occupied.

My mother moved to Peasmarsh Place from another care home and I have found it so much easier to communicate with both her and the staff at Peasmarsh. I fell much more 'hands on' with my mother’s needs and reassured that she’s receiving the best possible care.

With the relatively few residents, social interaction can be limited, so perhaps when Covid abates they can look at further activities to get local people in and residents out and about in the local area as appropriate.

Lovely surroundings, kind and helpful staff. Excellent food. Good response to needs, professional standards maintained by both day and night staff.

Set in wonderful grounds which are all well maintained by a team of staff. The care staff maintain an excellent standard of care and are very responsive to residents needs at all time. A wonderful place to retire to if you have special needs.

I could not be more pleased with the care and consideration my mother has received at Peasmarsh Place. At 95 years old, she is very frail and I feel a great sense of relief knowing that she is in such good hands.

My mother has been cared for by Peasmarsh Place for the last 7 years. The overall care has been fantastic and has given me complete peace of mind. The kindness, the care and the overall environment of Peasmarsh Place is superb. It's a real home for the aged.

We visited some and she chose Peasmarsh Place. She chose her room, she is very happy here and has been well looked after. She has thrived for 3 years. She is now a little weaker and needs more care. The home is taking care of her. It is her "home". At 99 and a half, she is doing well. This is because of the home and the caring staff. We couldn't ask for better.
