My nephew has recently moved in and his life has been transformed by the amazing care he is receiving here
The staff go above and beyond to make his life happy and all his health care needs are met
He joins in with all the activities available ( which are many ) and he is healthier and happier than
he has been in years
I feel I can call or visit anytime and the staff have helped me with any questions during he's transition into Streathfield house
Would recommend Streathfield 100% to anyone looking for residential care for a loved one .

My brother moved there nearly 3 years ago. His care has been extremely good. The staff are caring, professional and seem genuinely interested in the residents. They have a great range of activities and the home is often themed depending on the time year or sporting events etc. which is fun. They are
open and encourage family visits whenever suits which indicates how strong the quality of care is. The management team are very approachable and visible to visitors.

It is difficult to write this review as I am only at Streatfeild House for a couple of hours once a month in my brothers room, but when I see any member of staff they always seem very kind, caring and helpful. When I look at the social media page I am always impressed by the number and variety of activities
provided and am pleased to see my brother enjoying them. The manager is very helpful and all the places I see are clean and tidy.

Our son recently moved to Streatfield House. This home is amazing, the staff are all really caring and kind after a very bad experience at another care home. This home is amazing. they have so many activities going on. The food is amazing and you feel like you get a big warm hug every time you visit.
My son is getting back to his old self and that is down to Streatfield House.

My sister has been at Streatfield House for 18 months, having lived and been cared for by a lovely family. We were rather apprehensive about the move but we have no problems at all with the home and care that she is receiving. The occupational therapist is excellent - something different every day.

Streatfield House is the best home I have ever seen, smells nice, and is clean and tidy. The amount of activities they do with the residence is amazing always something going on, the food is good, the rooms are a lovely size and every room is individual to the resident. The friendliest and most caring
staff you could wish for for your loved one to have cared for them. Like one big family!
Went to the summer fair this year and was so lovely; got all the residents involved with cake, drinks, raffle, stands with gifts to buy, games, and singing (even a horse!)
Honestly couldn't wish for a better home for my uncle to be living in!

Streatfeild radiates warmth, joy and happiness as soon as you walk through the door. The residents have genuine happiness about them and are always well entertained, the activities work magic to keep the residents spirits high and active, there's magic about the place and my friend loves living there,
which makes me feel at peace when I'm not able to visit. I follow their social media page which is FULL of things they have all been up to, lovely to get daily updates and feel constantly connected.

My uncle really enjoys all of the activities on offer - especially the craft! he is able to continue his own interests (this is encouraged) as well, which makes a big difference. He is very happy at Streatfield. The family were invited to attend an afternoon tea party and were greeted with a warm welcome.

My husband and I were shared live-in carers for 28 years and when our original client deteriorated, the need for more care became necessary. We had been told about Streatfield House. The three of us visited and it felt like home from home. The client knew a few people there which helped her move. This

Our auntie has many complex needs but is very well supported and cared for. The staff are like family to her, as a long-term resident, Streatfield has always felt homely and well-run but continues to improve. My brother lived at Streatfield House for four years. He was well looked after up to the end of his life. Streatfield became my family and I became a volunteer there, helping provide activities and outings with staff. It's a lovely home. They do so much for the residents.

My aunt is a resident. I have said before and I'll say it again - that if the need arose I would move in. All residents are exceptionally well cared for. My uncle has lived at Streatfield House for many years. He is happy and incredibly well cared for. The staff are always welcoming when we visit, and nothing is too much trouble. We would not want him to be anywhere else - Streatfield is a family, and we are so grateful for the love and care he receives

I have worked at Streatfeild House since 2011. In those years, I have built relationships with the residents that will last a lifetime. I have worked in various roles in those years, but my passion is for activities and making a difference to individuals' lives and their well-being.


I ensure the activities are meaningful and tailored to the individual's needs, planning engaging group activities to bring people together, and facilitating person-centred outings in the community. Constantly striving to improve the residents' quality of life by promoting their independence, supporting them to set goals and aspirations and supporting them in achieving them.


I feel privileged to be able to truthfully say I love my job, I’m fortunate enough to be in a role which enables me to enhance and enrich the lives of others, it's truly rewarding.
