My uncle has lived at Streatfield House for many years. He is happy and incredibly well cared for. The staff are always welcoming when we visit, and nothing is too much trouble. We would not want him to be anywhere else - Streatfield is a family, and we are so grateful for the love and care he receives there.

My husband suffered a sudden brain injury and could no longer live at home with the family. Our home borough found it so difficult to accommodate him due to no physical disability. He spent many months in inappropriate old people's homes. Since finding Steatfield, his life and ours have taken a significant upwards turn. He is happy, well cared for and participates in lots of imaginative activities. A true home-from-home.

It has been really beautiful to finally get to see my friend over the festive period. I'm so grateful for the staff keeping them safe and well and maintaining as normal a life as possible during the Covid-19 pandemic.

I was lucky enough to be in a position to volunteer and do some crafts and activities with the residents for a good chunk of 2020. While I was there, I got to witness the outstanding level of care and compassion the staff have not just towards the residents but to each other. Every one of the service users was so happy, and I really enjoyed spending time with them and getting to know them.

During this difficult time in the midst of Covid-19, I have been very impressed with the care my friend has had. I have also been given access to talk to my friend on Skype calls over the last 4 months. The residents are really well looked after and cared for. The staff took the time to address the needs of my resident in care. The activities that the team put on were very entertaining and, obviously, well planned. I haven’t seen my friend look so happy and contented. Keep up the good work, very impressed with the Streatfeild house team.

My mother was living independently, but after a recent hospital stay, her care needs increased dramatically. While searching for a skilled care home, I've come across Streatfeild House.

Staff have all been really friendly, caring, and take great notes for one another. I speak with the manager quite often because of my mom's increasing needs and her changing behaviour. She is compassionate, professional, friendly, and a joy to work with. I would absolutely recommend this home without any question.

My grandmother is very difficult and she expects them to do a lot of stuff that isn't part of their duties. I understand, but my grandmother is 87 and she doesn't understand, but she is glad she has company there. I am very relieved and impressed with Streatfeild House. The care they provided for my grandmother is excellent and very compassionate.

First impressions always count and this care home really feels so warm and welcoming every time we visit our friend. The care and love received are above exceptional and especially in the last few months during the lockdown, we were able to see our dear friend via Skype.

Definitely a hidden gem among the care homes.

I am very happy with my daughter's care at "Streatfeild". The staff is caring, happy, and willing. They greet you and welcome you with a smile, always ask if everything is alright, offer a cup of tea/coffee. My daughter is happy at Streatfeild, which pleases me when I leave her. They help her in many ways, including helping with her phone.

I wanted to take a moment to convey a personal level of appreciation for the loving care that you and your staff provided my mum during the autumn of her life. She spoke often of the wonderful, personal attention she received and the love she felt from each party who touched her life while she was here in Streatfeild House. No matter how challenging her behavior might be. The whole staff works together as a team to make Mom’s environment a warm and loving place. Thank you.
