I have always had a passion for care, having started my first job as a kitchen assistant at 14 years of age. I became the registered manager of Lennox at 23 years old, after obtaining my NVQ Level 5 in leadership and Management in Health and Social Care. I am passionate about creating a home which is person centered, diverse, friendly and homely for all who reside and live here.
I joined Lennox Lodge back in 2014 as a Kitchen Assistant at the age of 14, a few years later I became a Care Assistant and I did this as a bank member of staff while I got my degree in Marketing with Business at Bournemouth University. In January I came back to Lennox full-time and took on the position of Accounts and Marketing Manager.
Lennox has been a big part of my life for the last 9 years; it has helped me to grow as a person and I love the relationships that I have created with both the residents and the staff.
I first joined Lennox Lodge in 2019 as a carer after i had studied for my Level 3 Health & Social Care at college. I have previous experience working within a nursing home as well as with children with learning disabilities. After joining Lennox Lodge, I soon realised that caring for the elderly makes me the happiest. During the pandemic, I decided to use my time to study for my Level 5 in Leadership for Health & Social Care and have been a Senior Health Care Assistant for a year. I love supporting members of the team, learning something new each day and seeing our residents smile. In May, along with Katie, i was promoted to Assistant Manager. I am grateful for the opportunity and i'm looking forward to furthering my career in Management
I have worked at Lennox Lodge for approximately 16 years and love the home, staff and residents. I am passionate that all of our residents receive the best person centered care possible and I thrive to make this happen. I enjoy supporting others within their roles, advocating for residents and learning new skills. In May, along with Rebecca, i was promoted to assistant manager which is very exciting for me and i'm looking forward to the future in my new role.
I joined Lennox Lodge in 2019 as a Health Care Assistant, having worked prior to this for over 15 years in a Dementia setting. I gained a qualification in NVQ Level 3 and leadership and management and worked as a deputy manager. I was offered the role of Senior Care Assistant, which I enjoy, working alongside Natasha and Kayleigh, who support me in my role. Lennox Lodge is a lovely home where I enjoy continuing to do the job I love.
I have worked at Lennox Lodge for 6 years, prior to this I had Experienced within the NHS and took some time out to have children, I wanted to return to the Health and Social Care sector. I started at Lennox Lodge as a Care Assistant and having undertaken my NVQ Level 3 with the support of the management team I have now been a Senior Care Assistant for 2 years. I love building relationships with the residents and have satisfaction in making their day a bit brighter. I love the family feel at Lennox and have built amazing relationships with the staffing team. I enjoy sharing my knowledge with other staff and feel that members of the team can come to me for support.
I have worked at Lennox Lodge for 8 years, having moved back to the area from America where I lived for 14 years. I had not worked in Health and Social Care before, but as soon as I started, I knew this was the right path for me, I thoroughly enjoy my job and have gained knowledge and confidence through undertaking the NVQ Level 2 and then went on to complete my NVQ Level 3. After I has completed this training, I was then promoted to Senior Care Assistant which I have been for 4 years now. I can go to the management team for any advice and love the open-door policy at Lennox Lodge.
