As a leading care village in West Sussex, the whole team at Barlavington Manor work hard each day to create an environment where everybody feels at home, while getting the five star care they deserve. Their personalised care plans ensure that each resident receives the care and support they need, as well as getting the respect and dignity they are entitled to.

They seek to empower residents to live as independently as possible and make active choices in their own care, believing that care should be about enhancing their residents’ lives, not just prolonging them.

With gorgeous landscaped gardens, beehives, kitchen garden, seasonal food menus and an imaginative and engaging activities schedule, it is clear to see why they have such a good reputation in the local community.

Lovely staff in this home and as you enter you would think it a hotel, there is no reminder of the elderly with that distinct aroma. The place is always clean and the people in care seem happy and content.

A very well run home. The staff are most considerate and attentive. They even know the names of family members.
We also know another resident, the father of a close friend of ours, who is very happy at the home.

I have found this to be a friendly and caring home.
With entertainment and many other ways to keep a happy atmosphere also the kindness and help given to all by the staff who are of a high standard.

My father has been a resident for 8 months and I feel so fortunate to have found such a delightful, caring home. The staff have been there a long time. Their contentment is evident in their interaction with residents. At Christmas, it was particularly pleasing, a panto, Christmas drinks. The manager
and deputy even came in on Christmas day which shows their dedication. Dad has improved since being there, well as much as his condition allows.
