I cannot praise the staff enough at this lovely home. We always feel so welcome when we come to visit. My dad loves it there, he always tells me about all of the fun activities going on around the home (even though he doesn't always partake!).
The owners are really flexible and even made his room
feel like his room at home, which not only helped him settle well but made him feel just at home. After Covid and all the limitations with visiting, it was so reassuring to know that he was in the best hands. Thank you Clapham Lodge Care Home for the support and for putting your residents first.

I visited my grandma a couple of months ago at Clapham Lodge Care Home and I could tell she was very comfortable being there. The staff were very attentive and caring of my family's needs. She returned home after her stay in good health. Thank you for keeping her well-looked after. It was a difficult
time for the family but it was made easier knowing she was in a place she could be cared for properly. This place is very homely as my grandma put it!

I visited one of my dear friends at Clapham Lodge Care Home, I must say the staff are lovely, warm and welcoming.
The home is very homely and smells fresh, this is one thing I had always been told about care homes.
The food looked lovely and was even invited to join my friend for lunch.
I enjoyed
seeing my dear friend and look forward to visiting her again as I had such a lovely experience.

Loth of my grandparents ended up in Clapham Lodge as they were discharged from the hospital with a continuing care plan for four weeks. Following this, it became evident that a return home would not be possible. As we had been so pleased with the care given, we decided to pay privately. The surroundings
are lovely, the staff are really on it, and the home is kept very clean. Everyone is extremely friendly. Very happy we made this choice. My grandparents also report that everyone is very friendly, and the food is really good.

Always very friendly, helpful and caring staff, in spite of the incredibly difficult time they have had over the last few years and the challenges they continue to face. My mother-in-law has been a long-term resident and her face lights up when she sees the staff, which tells me how well they look after
her and how they treat her and other residents.
We are made to feel welcome when we visit or when we ring to see how things are. Any staff member we chat to seems to know about my mother-in-law.
The commitment shown by staff throughout the pandemic was incredible. Now there is hope on the horizon to stop all the testing in the near future, hopefully, residents will enjoy more people visiting and no doubt staff will make everyone welcome.

Both my parents ended up being admitted to hospital at the same time and discharged on NHS 28 day plan to Clapham Lodge Care Home. I have little experience of care homes and it was by chance we ended up here and I'm glad we did. My parents are both permanent residents now. The Care home staff are very
friendly and welcoming and very good with my parents. Both of them really like the food and the home is kept very clean. I have not been disappointed with any aspect of the care they receive.

My husband went in for respite care for 1 week. He was made to feel like part of the family. I felt reassured that he was being well looked after.
It was the first time he's gone into respite in a home. I would be more than happy for him to go back again if and when the situation occurs.

Clapham Lodge is a wonderful home with the heart of the residents always at the forefront of the day to day running. The staff are extremely hardworking and dedicated in providing outstanding care and every effort is always made to ensure the residents lives are always happy and safe. My nan was very
happy living at Clapham Lodge. Moving into a care home was something my nan always wanted to avoid but due to a decline in health this could not be avoided. To make this more of an easy transition for her, the owners allowed us to decorate her room with her own personal choice of decor which really made her happy and assisted in her settling in quickly to her new surroundings. It didn’t take long for her to settle, which I would like to thank the amazing staff for. Not only did they treat her with kindness, compassion and the utmost respect but also like a member of their own family. Clapham Lodge is a true home from home and nothing is ever too much trouble in providing whatever is needed.

My mother has been a resident at Clapham Lodge for over three years. Throughout all that time she has been surrounded by love and compassion and as her mobility has deteriorated, patience and understanding from all the staff.
Since the lockdown due to Covid-19 and the ever-changing guidelines to ensure
safety for residents and staff, there has been continued support and friendliness towards me and to keep me involved and in touch with my mother. This has been a great help during the separation and has been managed extremely well.
I would like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone at Clapham Lodge for the way they have continued through the last few months showing professionalism and dedication.
We were so fortunate to find Mum such a wonderful home when she needed it.

My mother went to stay at Clapham Lodge in November 2018. Her room was airy and had a lovely view over the hill with a horses’ field which she loved looking at. From the beginning, all the staff were so friendly, patient and caring of my mother and always made myself and other visitors so welcome. She
often remarked that she had had a good laugh with the carers and really loved having her hair and nails done. On her 90th birthday, the home had two dancers come in and assisted with the party we had for her. She was twirled round in her wheelchair which she thought was fantastic. They were an excellent team.

My father is a resident of Clapham Lodge and has received the best of care I could wish for, the staff are kind, considerate and take such good care of Dad. They have kept everyone safe during the current situation, and I am so very glad he lives in an environment where he is both happy and loved.

My mother was at Clapham Lodge for about 15 months until she passed away in December 2019. The home is set in a lovely little village with views of the countryside and gardens. All the staff were outstanding. Their care, compassion and love is above and beyond. The residents are treated with the utmost
respect and all the staff try to make the place just like home. Mum had a lovely room surrounded with some of her furniture, ornaments and pictures. The food is good and varied. There is a lovely dining room partly in a conservatory with plenty of seating areas. The residents are entertained daily and there is a hairdresser that goes in. In the summer, residents can go outside to the garden. The staff will go out of their way to enable those residents who are not very mobile, to be able to participate. My mother was very much loved by the staff and they were upset when she passed. The home is very well managed by a really lovely lady.

My Mother first arrived at Clapham Lodge in March this year. My initial impression of the home was one of cleanliness, friendliness and kindness. My Mother was made so welcome and I have said to everyone despite having a lodge built for her close to my house I cannot remember seeing my Mother so contented.
Nothing is too much trouble the staff are always willing to help and the Manager is a delight. I now come away from visiting with a complete feeling of relief that my mother is being so well looked after. She has a few of her own belongings around her made possible by changing things around in her room all done so willingly and is surrounded by kindness.


I never imagined I would find a residential home so perfect in every way I cannot recommend it enough.

My Mother-in-law has been very happy in Clapham Lodge, she had a great social life and their entertainment schedule was the best I've ever seen. Lots of different activities every day and they even bring in singers, magicians and craft sessions to name but a few. Excellent.
The staff are wonderful
to the residents, treating them with respect and friendship. It really did feel homely and welcoming.

The care my grandma received was absolutely incredible. The care team were so kind and treated her with such dignity. I would often come in to finding one of them holding her hand and talking to her. They would take her into the lounge for activities, not that she was able to take part as she could
barely talk, couldn't feed herself or even walk but they still included her. In her last days at 12.30am, I was brought a hot drink and biscuits as I was sitting with her for as long as I was able, how kind of them. I could use 10 pages of A4 to tell all the wonderful things that they did for my grandma, I can't recommend this care home enough, and my entire family think the same. God bless these angels that work here.

The staff and management of Clapham Lodge are second to none and I speak from experience of having visited over a hundred in the past in a healthcare providers capacity. Very warm and friendly atmosphere within the home.
Staff always so happy and take such good care of the residents.
My husband has lived there for the past 6 months and has settled well.
I was worried at first about him going into a home and was so lucky to have found such a family friendly home.
