Fresh cooked food keeps mum healthy and allowing relatives to stay for lunch is a real treat for mum and me.
Cooking mum a birthday cake for all to enjoy made her 94th birthday special.
Thank you so much for your kind words and we are all pleased to hear that we were able to make her birthday a special day!
All in all not having any experience with any other care home i think Heathfield is first class.
Thank you so much for your kind words, it's great to hear your experience has been so positive
The staff are very friendly and helpful.
There is a real nice feel about Heathfield it feels homely and inviting.
I would highly recommend Heathfield to anyone considering putting a loved one into residential care.
Thank you so much for your wonderful and positive feedback. Its lovely to hear Mum has settled so well
My Godmother was a resident for 18+ months in another care home in Horsham. Initially it suited her needs. The reputation of Heathfield is excellent and since moving her in we have not been disappointed. Particular to note the food provided, with choice, is very good. We are more than pleased with the interaction of the lovely staff!
Thank you for taking the time to feedback. We are delighted to read that you are pleased with the care being given to your Godmother and that there is a great choice in foods offered. Our Staff really do go above and beyond to ensure Residents are home from home and that they feel safe and cared for. Your kind comments will passed to all of the Staff.
My mother moved in a few months ago at 90, and she feels very positive about being at Heathfield. The staff are kind and caring, always on hand to assist her, and it is a friendly environment. There are trips out and low key activities to take part in. Her room overlooks the garden and she really enjoys listening to the birds. Her room is fairly small but we were able to take in personal furniture to make it feel like hers. She particularly enjoys the food and film club, and just sitting in the garden. Visitors are welcome at any time, it feels like a community.
Thank you very much for the lovely feedback, we are so glad to have your mother with us at Heathfield and that she enjoys living here. We aim to make sure that each and everyone is made to feel welcome in our homely environment. As a not-for-profit organisation our activities and trips out are...
The staff are sensitive and responsive to her needs. She is very happy in her surroundings. Activities are resident led with additional people coming to the home to entertain.
It truly is a delightful care home - one which radiates real care and understanding of the residents.
Thank you for your kind feedback which I will certainly share with the Staff. As a not-for-profit home we pride ourselves in the care that is delivered and the activity opportunities that are presented to Residents and that everyone, including friends and families are made to feel welcome and at home here.
Building is older than some so has limitations like narrow corridors and older bathrooms but nothing that detracts from care.
Overall very happy and feel Mum is in a safe environment.
We thank you for the feedback and appreciate your comments about our home. We are pleased that she feels safe and cared for.
They do their best to make you feel at home.
Thank you for the feedback and we are glad to hear that our staff make you feel at home here at Heathfield.
My mother has said every time I have visited how kind everyone is. She has felt very safe and well looked after. I have found all the staff to be very welcoming every time I have been to Heathfield and they have shown how caring they are by wasting no time in calling the GP when they were concerned about her.
Thank you very much for spending the time leaving us a review and for the kind words about our home. We appreciate this feedback!
Since becoming a resident I have settled in well. I like the majority of residents and staff. The home provides a selection of activities such as film club or Scrabble. As well as having a lovely garden to enjoy.
Mostly a good atmosphere if a trifle rushed, always hurried. I do appreciate carers have a lot to get through, so time is important. One staff member is particularly good, also the lounge and sun room are quite tastefully done and welcoming. I'm 93 now and feel quite safe.
Thank you for your for your review, your feedback is important to us as it helps us to look at areas and make the necessary improvements.
My mother-in-law has been at Heathfield for 18 months, moving in from her own home at the age of 95. Such a big change for her but the staff and mainly the management were outstanding. Their patience in helping her each day to feel at home and comfortable in her new surroundings made things for her and us so much easier. With regret, all parties feel now is the time for Mum to go into a nursing home. This will be a very sad day for her, also my husband and I but we cannot thank the home enough for all they have done for her and we would highly recommend Heathfield to any family who needs support with their loved ones.
Thank you for the lovely review, it is much appreciated.
My mother has been admitted for two weeks of respite care with a view to permanent residency. She has been assessed by Heathfield during this time and has settled in surprisingly well. We are very impressed by the care and consideration provided by all the staff and very much hope she will be able to stay as long as possible.
Thank you for your lovely response, I am pleased that your mum has decided to become a permanent resident.
I have no complaints at all, as all of the staff are most helpful. The food is very good. I like to ask for small portions as I don't like to leave any food at all. I love to walk in the fresh air a few times a day - weather permitting.
Thank you for your lovely review. The management is in the process of revamping planned activities. I will speak to our chefs to ensure that you receive the portion size of meals that suites you.
It's a home-from-home with only 35 residents.
My mum is very happy and settled quickly. And as Heathfield is a charitable trust it's good value and the money goes into caring for its residents.
We could not recommend more highly.
Thank you for your feedback, your supportive and kind comments are much appreciated.
Heathfield is a beautiful care home which is very pleasant to visit. Always spotlessly clean does not smell. The food is plentiful and well-presented. The staff are all very caring and polite and helpful.
Thank you for your kind words about our home, we are grateful for your feedback.
Our father always spoke so highly of all the colleagues, from the management team, carers, and catering colleagues. I would agree wholeheartedly, our father was looked after in a very caring, but unassuming way, as we were when we visited him, nothing was too much trouble.
Your feedback is much appreciated, thank you for the very kind words.
My Aunt became a resident of Horsham Heathfield after a spell in hospital and unable to live independently. She has settled well there. She reports the staff are friendly and nothing too much trouble.
Thank you for your lovely feedback. We are always looking to improve our experience for our residents and your ratings help us to act on this.
I am the sole carer for my friend who moved into Heathfield four years ago. I confidently know she is well looked after and all her needs are met. I am fully informed of any changes and circumstances that may involve her. The staff are always welcoming and have time to listen to any concerns that may arise.
Thank you for your lovely feedback and kind words about our home.
Mum is well looked after. She has specific needs which are met by the staff. She has her ups and downs. The staff recognise and react accordingly. The room is always spotlessly clean and her ensuite bathroom. The whole house is well maintained and access using the stair lift is good.
Thank you for your lovely feedback. We are always looking to improve our experience for our residents and your ratings help us to act on this.
