I have been very pleased with my fathers care; they are very caring and attentive. The home is very clean, and provides good food and appears very organised.

We put my 92-year-old mum in the care of Hollymead staff and soon realised we had found a real gem. As a one-owner-one-home care home, there is a real focus from the owners in doing the best they can, and treating everyone equally well for as reasonable as they could. Above all, the home is full of
love. Not one staff member hasn't got a heart of gold. So many angels gathered in one place. Mum needed a lot of care as she had lost the use of her legs. Nothing was too much trouble; she was soon given any aid she needed and anything to keep her comfortable. With regular entertainment, bingo and Christmas parties, we could not have found a better place!

My mother has lived at Hollymead for over two years now. I can rest assured that she is happy and all her needs are met by friendly and professional staff members. All her care is personalised to her. Every time I visit my mother, she is happy and I am welcomed. She is like one of the family. The home
has varied entertainment from singers to playing games, barbeques in the summer and Christmas parties. I am kept informed by the manager on every change that affects my mother. I receive newsletters and updates by email. The door is always open for visitors.

This is a fantastic care home. All the staff are extremely competent/friendly and very patient with my grandmother. She has a lovely, clean room and is well looked after. Bingo and quizzes, craft activities are laid on for the residents, and before the lockdown, singers or musician visits to entertain
them. But personally, I loved the barbeque they hold in the summer when all the family can join together. Hollymead House has given me peace of mind, and I know she is in safe hands.

The manager and staff at Hollymead House care home are a fantastic team, always at the top of their game in every respect. Since my dear mum joined in October 2020, they have made her feel so at home and look after her so very well. Even when they had an outbreak of Covid-19, they kept everyone safe
and kept me updated on the whole situation at all times. My mum is happy and content with their care, always singing the staffs praises, as I do myself. I am very pleased with the whole team there.

Contact home following a recommendation. We were treated professionally and with kindness. The manager visited us on her day off and was/is very helpful. We have always been contacted with any illness problems including hospitalisations. We, as a family, feel very confident to have our mum residing
at Hollymead, that they will always do their best for her and us.

My mum was a resident at Hollymead House for 4 years and she truly felt at home. All the staff were always so caring and nothing was too much trouble. Food was excellent and I even had Sunday lunch at the home on my Mum's birthday. It couldn't have been better and included wine. There was regular entertainment,
including singers, bands and theatre groups. A wonderful lady came tin to offer arts and crafts groups and residents made things for the Christmas Fayre. I would highly recommend Hollymead House.

After a decline in my mother's health, she had to go into full-time care. I chose Hollymead, she went straight there from hospital. The staff welcomed her, showed her to her room and made her feel at home. The care she has received there is excellent. The staff meet all her needs with compassion, dignity
and kindness. I would recommend Hollymead to family and friends, my mother has settled in well there and is very happy and content thanks to the lovely staff that look after her.

This review relates to my mum, who sadly passed away a couple of weeks ago. She was in Hollymead House for 6 years and I truly cannot fault the care and love she received there. Mum was so well looked after and every single member of staff treated her with respect. Every resident is treated the same.
The time she was dying my daughter was given a room for the night so she could be close by. The thought given to us at this time was wonderful. They will always have our gratitude for making Mum's final days/years happy ones.

Brilliant level of personalised care - couldn't fault it. Interesting and stimulating activities offered every day, ensured mental well being. An opportunity to take part in a weekly church service held in the home looked after my mother's spiritual well being as well.


Every single member of staff

whatever their role was warm, friendly and caring.
A credit to themselves and the management of the home. I was recommended to look at Hollymead, I now do the same.

My mother has been at 'Hollymead' for just over 3 months. The care she has received from all those working there has been, and continues to be, excellent. Staff are positive, helpful, uplifting and always full of fun. Managers react promptly to health issues. The quality of food is excellent too. Staff
are always most welcoming and I am frequently offered tea/cake etc. All the other residents appear to be very happy and content with life there.

My mother was a resident at Hollymead from April 2017 until her death in January 2018. She was in the most caring, special environment. The staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble. The celebrations of special occasions ie Christmas are done with panache. I would recommend Hollymead to anyone.

I am an advocate for a resident at Hollymead House who has dementia. Although she understands a certain amount she can not voice her views verbally but has the ability to show if she is upset by something. I visited the home everyday sometimes more than once at different times of the day and evening.
I can honestly say that I would not fault a single member of staff for their care, courtesy and respect for all the residents even though at times their patience must be tried! Good activities provide a lovely homely atmosphere every time you enter the home. The food is good.

The whole family was treated like friends right from Day One.
A very friendly, clean, bright and cheerful place to live.

During some three years residence at Hollymead House my Aunt enjoyed first-class care in a welcoming, family-style environment. The Owner, Manager and Staff were unfailing in their professional yet friendly and patient attention to her needs and wishes. Celebrations of her 100th, 101st and 102nd birthdays
were arranged at the Home's initiative, typifying the care and affection shown to residents. Thank you all.

My 102-year-old aunt is being well cared for. The staff are so caring towards her with lots of TLC. I have just returned from a birthday lunch put on for her by the staff with all the residents included and family made welcome.
