Person-centred care is planned and delivered by long serving, trained, professional staff. The priority is to ensure residents’ dignity and choice is respected at all times. Carers endeavour to meet all the needs of residents, offering a home for life, well supported by local GP practices.

Activities in house as well as outings in a mini-bus are planned to suit all interests and abilities. The garden is easily accessible and enjoyed by all, including an array of house pets.

My wife is being looked after really well. She is content in her surroundings. She is comfortable. All the staff are extremely kind and caring looking after her needs. They all have a lovely manner, are patient and have a smile to greet her. My wife has been in the home a while and she has always been
treated with respect. I have no problems.

Mum never felt cared for here, shower once a week, often collected her, very smellie, hair not brushed and miss match clothing, not always hers.
Appalling food, and a lack of options. Some residents caused problems for mum going into her room. Mum often left in her room alone.

Lavender Lodge is beautifully prepared and decorated for Christmas. The Christmas party, attended by residents, staff, management and residents' family and friends was superb. The kitchen provided a fabulous spread for all and though the staff were mingling they were also continuously checking that
the residents were cared for at all times. A photo of each resident on a Christmas card and signed by the resident for the family, was the icing on the cake. Thank you one and all!

My Dad has settled well into Lavender Lodge. He struggles with his dementia and the staff are kind, understanding and make him laugh. They have got to know him well and I feel confident in his care. They also welcome family at any time which is so helpful.

Mum moved into Lavender Lodge at the beginning of October 2024, she has settled in very well thanks to all the caring staff and the manager. The manager and her team have been very helpful with the transition of Mum moving in and settling. Mum says she feels at home, this is one of the things we liked
about Lavender Lodge when we visited. It has a real home-from-home feel about it.

Staff do their best, in all situations (it's not an easy job at times). Would be nice if meals were a bit hotter when they arrive and I do enjoy a hot cuppa often. My room is great and has a big TV. There are plenty of activities but I prefer to stay in my room.
