Badgers Wood is a residential care home situated in Drayton, approximately four miles from the city of Norwich.

This outstanding care home comes with a library, a retro lounge and a seaside room for relaxation and reminiscence. For those who enjoy a little pampering, there is a hair and nail salon available for the residents. The home also has its own cafe, enabling friends and family to spend time with their loved ones in a relaxed setting.

There are a wide variety of activities arranged daily along with various in house clubs, day trips out and a large involvement with the local community.

Local amenities include shops, pubs, food outlets, cafes and churches. Badgers Wood is also on a main bus route into Norwich city centre.

My mother was a resident for the last 18 months of her life at Badgers Wood. She was welcomed and made to feel at home in her new surroundings. The care she was given was outstanding, she adapted to her new life so well due to the care and dignity she received from every member of the team.

Cannot fault Badgers Wood. All the staff, from the bottom to management at the top, are very friendly to my husband, myself and friends. The food looks lovely with a large variety.

My mother-in-law had spent 15months at Badgers Wood and was very happy there. She was always treated with kindness, love, care and above all allowed her to remain as independent as she wanted.
The staff were absolutely amazing and nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend this home
to anyone who is looking for a care home.
Thank you to all the staff, my mum-in-law and all the family have been shown such care and kindness something we will never forget.

If you wish your loved one/relative to share their room with a commode (the shared toilets are in the coriddor), shabby old furniture, a pathetic wash basin and hardly room to swing a cat, then Badgers Wood should be just the ticket. Attention to health issues has been poor and the home management has
been condescending and patronising towards my wife who is this resident‘s last surving close relative.
User beware as there much better alternatives close at hand.

Badgers Wood is a comfortable, pleasantly situated care home. What marks it out particularly is the kindness of its staff and the exceptional care shown to its residents.
On a recent visit, I accompanied a member of staff through the home - every resident we met on the way was greeted by name with
genuine friendliness.
Highly recommended.

My father-in-law has been here for over a year now on daycare and respite.
The members of staff have been 1st class all friendly and helpful, any questions answered straight away. The manager and deputy both very experienced and will advise on anything that will assist father-in-law whilst there. He
always looks forward to attending Badgers Wood without a problem,

A friend moved into Badgers Wood last week. She was very scared of the change but after just a week, it is the happiest she has been for years. All staff have been so caring kind and helpful in settling her in and we can never thank them enough they are also always at the end of the telephone if we
have any queries. It is a brilliant home with clean and lovely rooms, would recommend it to anybody.
