We were of course very apprehensive when my mum had to go into a care home. We are so thankful that she had been placed at Rose Meadow and we couldn't have wished for better care.
Thank you for your kind review about the reassurance that our team at Rose Meadow have given you.
Staff very helpful. The girls in the office are more than helpful.
Thank you for your kind comments on the staff at Rose Meadow.
I am also impressed with all the other staff who were extremely pleasant.
The home appears to be very clean.
Thank you for your kind comments - retaining confidentiality whilst ensuring, we provide a welcoming approach is important to us.
Our 96-year-old mum was welcomed and made to feel "safe" within minutes of walking into Rose Meadow. She has made friends, had her hair done at the "in house" hairdressing salon, seen a visiting chiropodist, visited by a doctor from one of the medical surgeries who visit Rose Meadow. The daily food menu, care, activities etc are all such good and high quality. Care staff, kitchen staff, cleaners, laundry etc are all a great team, being lead and guided by a committed manager and assistant manager.
Overall, Rose Meadow is a home within a home. We would be very happy to be a resident ourselves.
Wow - what a wonderful review - thank you!
The staff fell over themselves to help and to make sure everything was what she wanted and carried on for her full stay in the home. If you had any problems they sort it straight away. We stayed for lunch some days and it is highly recommended.
Unfortunately, my aunt passed away in the home and the care and support for her and the family were out of this world.
If you are thinking of this home, I give it 5 stars.
Thank you for your kind words about the care and support provided to your great-aunt and your family at Rose Meadow, please accept our condolences for your loss.
I would like to say thank you to all the staff who look after my mum so well. She is settled and very happy to be there. The staff are friendly to residents and visitors, and the home has a relaxed atmosphere. I do not live locally and my sister lives abroad, therefore I am not able to visit as much as I would like too. The manager is installing SKYPE which will enable mum to see us when we phone her. She is quite excited about this and I think it illustrates the individualised care and compassion I see when I visit.
Thank you for your kind words about the care and support your mum is receiving at Rose Meadow. We are particularly pleased that you are able to continue to see and speak to her via Skype, which we understand is very important to you, given you and your sister don't live locally.
When I visited my mum for the first time as soon as I walked in I felt welcome. I noticed all the staff knew everyone's name, it was clean, no awful smells! There was laughter, a relaxed atmosphere and it felt unhurried and compassionate. On subsequent visits my opinion has improved, my mum feels safe and happy. All the staff are compassionate and the leadership excels in expecting very high standards from everyone, every day and they do. I truly recommend Rose Meadow.
Thank you for your thoughts and observations and the way the staff and manager support the residents at Rose Meadow.
I cannot speak highly enough of the care Mum has received since moving into the home. She has gained weight, made friends both with staff and residents and is the happiest she has been in a long time. All the staff welcome me as part of their "family" as much as Mum. Always activities on hand if the residents wish to join in. All the rooms are clean, warm and well lit.
Thank you for your lovely comments about the care and support your mum and you are receiving from Rose Meadow.
The staff are excellent and treat our mum and aunt as though they are family - for this my husband and I are grateful. They take the time to make sure they are comfortable - we feel we have found the best place possible for my mother-in-law and her sister. We are all pleased they are together. Thanks again!
Thank you for your lovely comments about the care and support your mum and aunt are receiving at Rose Meadow.
I would recommend Rose Meadow to anyone. If it hadn't been for your wonderful and diligent care, I doubt she would have survived many weeks let alone months.
Xmas at Rose Meadow was wonderful, and the carol services you put on were great. Mother and I loved them. I don't know where the staff found the time to practice!
Thank you all so much.
Thank you for your kind comments, and please accept our condolences for your loss.
My friend had a full stroke on 24th December and was admitted to hospital and then on to Mulberry rehab centre, he was assessed and recommended to Rose Meadow. I must admit I was very disappointed with the small 9x9 room and awful lift, but the care he has been given in the nearly 4 months he has been there couldn't be better. They give him 100%, very kind and caring. Any queries I have, there is always someone to speak to and help deal with any problems.
Thank you for your kind words about the care and support your friend receives at Rose Meadow. I will pass on your comments about the lift and the rooms to our team.
The home is extremely well managed. We felt welcome whenever we visited. We have nothing but praise for Rose Meadow where my mother was happy and content in the last four years of her life.
Thank you for your kind words about the care and staff at Rose Meadow and please accept our condolences on your loss.
I met the manager and her team at Rose Meadow when my mum who is 95 years old had to go into a care home for her safety. They treated her as though she was the most important resident, going the extra mile to make her comfortable. Mum has been in the home now for two weeks and is still getting excellent individual care.
Thank you for your kind thoughts on the care at Rose Meadow. We are pleased your mum has settled in well and you can be assured we will continue to provide her with individualised care.
