From the moment I walked in I knew mum would like it- the staff were so helpful and kind. I read the reviews that were old and didn't sound good! I would say go take a look- it's a gut feeling to know if your loved one will be cared for. Moving mum here from another care home 5* reviews!! Well I wouldn't
give it 2* there's no comparison. Mum and I are so happy, well done to the staff who make it a great care home.

Green Lane View

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My mum and dad in their 80's, moved into Green Lane View in November 2025. Dad has a number of health issues and mum is his main carer. They are both quite frail but try to maintain a level of independence. From the first day they moved in, the staff at GLV have been kind and supportive, ensuring their
welfare and safety without taking over or compromising their independence. My parents have appreciated the fact that there is always someone available if they have needed help or support. My brother and I have also found this very reassuring as we were constantly worried about them when they lived alone. They take advantage of the restaurant a couple of times a week, but they cook their own meals other days. Both myself and other members of my family have had a meal at the restaurant and the food is of a very high standard. Staff and residents organise a number of social activities which residents can enjoy if they wish. My family are extremely satisfied with Green Lane View.
Reply from Darnell Empson, Manager at Green Lane ViewThank you for taking time to submit a review. Mum and Dad soon settled into life at Green Lane View and made friends with other tenants. They are a lovely couple and now part of the Green Lane View family. Maintaining independence is a priority, staff are of course at hand to step in if needed. Thank you to you and your Brother for all your support, working together ensures the best outcomes for your Mum and Dad.

Dell Rose Court

from R T (Daughter of Resident) published on 6 February 2026

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My mother has been living in Dell Rose for 4 years now. From my initial contact until the present day, I have nothing but praise for all the staff and management.
The team of carers are always cheerful, considerate, and helpful.
In fact, all the staff, including the admin and catering staff have
come to know mum and are very respectful of her wishes.
I have found the staff going above and beyond their duties to make Dell Rose such a happy and thriving community, from social events, coffee mornings, film afternoons, arts and crafts, sing-alongs, which mum looks forward to attending, and certainly dresses for the occasion. Something she missed whilst living on her own.
I would like to express my wholehearted gratitude to the excellent care and service that Dell Rose provides. It gives me peace of mind that mum lives in a safe, secure and happy environment.
Dell Rose Court is a special gem and long may it shine.

Lloyd Court

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My mum has settled in well to living at Lloyd court. She is very happy with her little home, she has everything she needs around her to make it homely.
The care she receives from all the wonderful staff is outstanding, they are all very caring, understanding, supportive and most helpful they pop in
and check on her or for a chat to make sure she is ok.
The public areas are kept spotlessly clean, there are lots of nice places to sit and relax in. you can take up a new hobby like arts and crafts, jigsaws or find a book to read from the book sheeves plus there's a music area if you enjoy music.
There is a hairdresser who comes in once a week. Also a laundry to use.
Lovely outside seating area's.
Plus they have day time activities to join in with which quite a few people come along too.
Lloyd court has a nice homely feel as you walk through the front door a nice calm and welcoming place.
We are happy mum is living here we know she is well looked after and cared for.

The staff in High Haven are really lovely. They helped me a lot when I was trying to get my mother in law there. I understand the building is very old so some parts look a bit tired. Her room is very small but she seems happy with it, and as long as she's happy, we're happy. I've seen the staff intersact
with other residents and they genuinely care, not all homes are the same.

Although this review asks me to reflect on a specific month, it is difficult to separate one month from another because the care my brother receives is consistently compassionate, patient, and thoughtful every single day.
My brother is autistic and has special needs, and the staff at this housing with
care facility show a genuine understanding of him as an individual, not just as a resident. Throughout the month, staff continued to support him with kindness, respect, and calm reassurance, helping him to feel safe, settled, and valued in his home. Their approach is never rushed; they take the time to communicate in ways that suit his needs and to respond sensitively when he feels anxious or overwhelmed.
What stands out most is the warmth and dedication of the team. They celebrate small achievements, maintain routines that give my brother stability, and are always attentive to his wellbeing. Communication with family is clear and reassuring, which gives us great peace of mind.
Reply from Krystian Nawrocki, manager at St Augustine's PlaceThe care your brother receives is clearly exceptional, characterized by compassion, patience, and thoughtful support tailored to his individual needs. The staff's genuine understanding of him as a person, their warm dedication, and their consistent efforts to maintain his stability and wellbeing are truly commendable. Their clear and reassuring communication with your family further reflects their commitment to providing not just care but a sense of safety and value in his home. Its wonderful to see such a positive and impactful environment for your brother.

Weavers Court is residential care. It provides good support to allow independent living. The carers are are friendly and helpful. The accomodation allows enough space to make a home but not so much space it is unmanageable.
Reply from Kirsty Forster, Manager at Weavers CourtThank you for taking the time in completing the review. It's really important for us to support tenants to be independent. As you know we value your feedback and ongoing support.

I have been here nearly 3 years, and think the services work well, but it can never be simple with different tenants to assist with their residing here. They do a pretty good job, with their various duties and other functions, and cleaning staff very neat in tidying.
I have had various competitions
arranged connected with Motion Picture outlets, film performes, and this one was on Films on the birth of Christ, British and U.S Artistes, the inner was Care Assistant top prize, and four runners up, the downside, it would nice if more responded, but there we are, and same with the previous inititive. Having been involved in Movies since an early age, gives me point. Hope this has'nt been too boring to read.

I never thought I would end up in an assisted living residence, but I did and I am thankful to be here. I am extremely well looked after and I know if I need help I just need to press my call button. We are all known by our christian names which makes it more friendly. The staff arrange coffee mornings,
occasional entertainment and keep us advised of any forthcoming events. We are free to choose whether we join in, or stay in our flats. My daughter and son have peace of mind.

Although the carers are friendly and kind I find they do differed somewhat in the time and attention they spend on my medical needs. The carers that spend more quality time on it prevent the problems from re-occurring again which is obviously much appreciated.

My mum was in Harker House for 6 months. The care and love she received in her short time was above and beyond expectation. Whenever we went to visit, management and staff made us feel like their own family and always kept us informed about things. They were very professional in the end of life care
for my mum and made a difficult time easier.
