It is difficult to put into words what it means to a family to know a relative is safe, well looked after and as content as they can be. My aunt was not at Beauchamp House for long but I couldn't have wished for anywhere better. It is a pleasant environment with lovely grounds and all staff I interacted with have been caring, supportive, helpful and responsive. As is often the case, it was a hard decision to move my aunt to a care home against her wishes but increasing dementia took the decision out of our hands. Staff clearly appreciated how difficult this was and were very supportive. My aunt settled in quickly and has been content living there. They also supported another difficult decision - to move my aunt to another home 300 miles away to be near her family towards the end of her life and to celebrate her 100th birthday with us, and did everything they could (at very short notice) to make this happen. Thank you so much.
All areas are spotless and there is a wonderful atmosphere around...

My aunt spent the last 4 years of her life at Beauchamp House and I strongly believe they were the happiest days for her. The staff are amazing and I don't think she would've lived to such a great age if she hadn't come there to live.

The home is quite a freindly place with activities provided to suit those with enhanced care residents mixing with the upper floor residents. We as a family get on well with management, floor staff and residents alike. Small areas of concern have been, length of time toilets were out of order. My mother's mid week shower or bath being implemented.

The staff in general have empathy with the residents. Medication given at correct time and amount. Are usually busy but still able to spare some time to converse with residents. Help people who are physically and/or mentally impaired and also they react swiftly to anyone who has difficulty socialising. Any problems are usually sorted out promptly.
My grandparents are really enjoying their stay here. The fantastic, caring staff make them feel loved and safe. I hope they enjoy many more months in this fantastic setting. The staff are always welcoming when I go to visit.

My elderly cousin spent the last 2 years of her life at Beauchamp House. She was exceptionally well looked after and had a very comfortable small, warm, clean room to live in. The staff were always kind and attentive and managed superbly in very difficult circumstances. I was always well informed as to issues relating to my cousin and I was always so grateful for the kindness shown to my cousin when she was not very easy to care for. She certainly was extremely lucky to have been able to live there and I am eternally grateful for the care and kindness she was shown there.

As I cannot walk at the moment because of ulcerated legs, I have to use a wheelchair so I am very pleased with all the help I get to go to the toilet and to bed. Thanks to everybody. I love you all.

I moved my mum into Beauchamp House in April 2022 because of her Dementia and the care she needed. From the first visit, I felt like it was home. 6 months on and mum needs so much additional care and none of it is too much trouble. They have such empathy not only with the residents but also have been there to help me too when it gets too much and I need to either cry or just talk. I can visit anytime day or night which is not an option in most homes which means I can see mum as much as I want. I cannot praise this home, or its staff enough. Outstanding.

My career began as a Care Assistant, and through hard work, learning, and a genuine passion for caring for others, I progressed to Team Leader, Deputy Manager, and now Registered Manager.
I hold a Level 5 qualification in Management in Health and Social Care and a BA in Criminology. While qualifications are important, I believe the heart of good care is getting to know people, understanding what matters to them, and helping them feel safe, happy, and valued.
One of the things I enjoy most about my role is building meaningful relationships with residents, their families, and my team. I am proud to lead a home where kindness, respect, and compassion are at the centre of everything we do.
