THANK YOU MUNHAVEN xxx
Immediately felt at home and fitted right in. Staff super friendly, experienced and professional, at all times polite and knowledgeable to any question asked. Nothing is too much trouble. All occupants shown patience, kindness, and above all, dignity. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend 100% - visiting is always encouraged, whatever the time.
Thank you so much for your kind words and recommendation
Recently, my husband has been admitted to Munhaven Care Home, as unfortunately, I can no longer give him the care at home to meet his needs. At Munhaven, I have nothing but praise for all those to care for their residents. Everyone is so kind, gentle, loving and treated with dignity to all they care for; nothing is too much trouble. They have patience in abundance. I feel my husband's needs are well catered for and well looked after. I find nothing but kindness given to me and my family when visiting my husband.
Thank you for your very kind words. It is a pleasure to care for your husband
What an absolute wonderful care home Munhaven is. My dad became a resident in June and the weight that's been lifted, particularly for my mum is amazing. We feel it's like one happy family and the care provided is outstanding and so obvious to see. Everyone is very caring, compassionate and patient and all helped to make my dad feel settled and happy very quickly. We know my dad is receiving 24/7 excellent care that he deserves and we will feel eternally grateful to all in Munhaven. Thank you
Thank you so much for your kind words. It is a pleasure to care for your dad

Thank you so much for your kind words. It is an absolute pleasure to care for your mother
My husband has a week's respite care at Munhaven. Everyone there were very welcoming and caring. Lots of activities and plenty of food! My husband appreciated the suppers! The home was comfortable with small seating areas and garden.
It was a pleasure to care for your husband. Thank you so much for you kind review
My dad joined the Munhaven community last December. The standard of care is outstanding. The staff are always friendly, upbeat and kind; they are clearly competent and patient. My dad has settled in well and the team has helped him personalise his room. The facility is always clean and tidy and the food is good. The team organises events and visitors to help entertain the residents, even if my dad doesn't always want to join in ! He is free to live life at his own pace and is happy with his new home. I am so grateful to everyone at Munhaven - knowing that my dad is being well cared for and is safe and happy. Thank you!
It is our pleasure to care for your dad. Thank you so much for your kind words.
She was immobile for a while but the team persevered and continuously included her in all activities and has helped her out of bed to do so. With all this care and encouragement she is now more mobile and laughing again all credit to this brilliant team.
Thank you for completing a review for us it is very much appreciated . I will pass your kind comments onto the staff
This amazing care home goes above and beyond for the residents.. the staff are gentle and attentive to their needs. My mum received constant reassurance in her hardest times.. nothing is too much trouble for mum or our family .. we are always put at ease and and any concerns we have are taken seriously and dealt with immediately. Mum has never looked so well. She's dressed well, hair done , nails painted (optional) .. she always took pride in her appearance so this is very important to mum.. she s encouraged to join in with the other residents but given a quieter option should she need it.. the staff and managers are second to none .. many of them have been at Munhaven for quite a few years and I'm sure that's down to the home being so well run.. they are always on hand with a cup of tea while we chat to mum.. so very thoughtful. There's a calm at Munhaven that is so lovely .. would absolute recommend Munhaven to any family struggling like we were .
Thank you taking time to complete a review for Munhaven . I will pass your kind words to the staff.
Since moving to Munhaven from a larger home my wife's appetite and spirits have returned. This small home provides an exceptional level of care to it's residents. Munhaven must be the care home to which all others aspire to be like. They have provided such amazing care for my father-in-law and our entire family and we are so grateful. The entire team are so caring and considerate, nothing is too much trouble. We have been completely overwhelmed by their support and kindness at such a difficult time. They genuinely care and it shows constantly. From providing us with food and cups of tea to keeping us fully updated and demonstrating a level of care I only dreamt of for my father-in-law. Thank you so much we won't forget you all.
My mother moved into this wonderful care home in June 2024 and settled in so quickly as the care staff and management are so kind. Her room is excellent, it's safe, and the garden is perfect to sit and walk in. The meals are simple but perfect. I can totally relax knowing Mum is happy. So pleased for her when visiting we get an honest welcome and information regarding Mum's wellbeing.
We really appreciate you taking the time to complete a review for us. I am so pleased that your mum has settled in so quickly. we aim to make the transition from home to Munhaven as smooth and welcoming as possible for you and your mum. It's a pleasure looking after your mum.
Lovely staff, always helpful. The home needs a bit of updating but the facilities are generally good.
Thank you so much for taking the time to complete a review for us. Your feedback is really important to us. It was a pleasure caring for your husband, especially seeing him join in singing and dancing to all our entertainment.
I am filling this in having discussed with the resident's sister. Exemplary home, immaculate, bright and cheerful. Cannot fault the dedication of the staff, very much a person-centred approach. All the resident's needs are met. Food excellent, all cooked on premises. The resident's sister requested that her bedroom armchair be cleaned, instead they replaced with a new (better) chair with a footstool. The ratings have been agreed by the resident's next of kin, whom I represent on behalf of the resident.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review. We pride ourselves on supporting our residents to live the absolute best life they possibly can.
The care offered is very person-centred and my mother-in-law who has dementia appears to be happy and very well-settled.
The care home itself is clean, bright and welcoming and you can see a lot of effort has been put into the areas for the residence including the outdoor space.
Thank you for your kind words, I'm glad your mother-in-law has settled in well. I will pass your comments on to the staff.
The staff are very flexible and will adapt and make changes to accommodate the residents. I was so touched to see a poorly resident lying on the settee with a pillow and blanket. Just like you would do at home.
I feel truly blessed my Mum is in such a wonderful care home and I want to thank all the staff from the bottom of my heart.

Meet the Team (1)

Hi, I’m Hannah, and I am proud and excited to take on the role of Registered Manager here at Munhaven.
I’ve been with Norse Care for over 10 years, starting out as a bank care staff member and have been pleased to have been able to progress through roles such as Team Leader, Coach, and Care Lead across multiple sites, before taking on my first registered manager role last year. My journey has given me the opportunity to support and work alongside staff and residents, always with the goal of making a positive difference in their lives. I have a particular passion for working with people living with dementia.
My previous experience as Manager of a Housing with Care scheme has helped me develop a deep understanding of what it takes to create a warm, supportive environment. I believe in the power of teamwork, and my aim is to ensure everyone is working together towards one shared goal: providing our residents with a meaningful, enriched life.
