Lovely atmosphere, plenty of staff around to support visitors as well as people in the care home.
Thank you for your kind words. Our aim is to create a home from home for our Munhaven family, we always hope that visitors feel this too.
I love everything about Munhaven. My mum gets such good care. All staff are friendly and kind, can't do enough to help both service users and family members. Munhaven is a very lively homely place to be. I enjoy my visits and don't want my mum to be anywhere else. I can't fault anything here. I feel content mum is getting everything she needs.
Thank you so much for your wonderfully kind words. It is an absolute pleasure to care for your mum.
Thank you for making a very difficult time easy. Friendly and helpful staff. Nothing is too much trouble.
Thank you for your kind words, it is greatly appreciated. I am so happy that we were able to make the transition easier for you at this difficult time.
Staff are always very friendly and find time to talk. I know my nanny gets the best care for her needs. I love the singing and dancing from staff and residents and the attention my nanny gets. Very impressed with the manager, she is very attentive and puts our minds at ease with our nanny. She makes us feel very welcome.
Thank you for taking the time to write your kind review. It is an absolute pleasure to care for your nanny.
I am so pleased that my mum has a home at Munhaven. In the three years she has lived there the staff have been wonderful, so kind and caring. Munhaven has a lovely atmosphere and when I visit I am made to feel welcome, the staff are so friendly and there are always plenty of activities going on for the residents to engage in. A special thank you to the cook, who cooks mum special pureed food.
Thank you so much for your kind words. It's an honour and a privilege to care for your mum.

We have just had a wonderful meal with my mother in this wonderful home. I have to say that my mum has settled really well here and is very happy. She is always clean and tidy and always says the food is delicious. Mum is extremely well looked after and we can relax knowing that she is well cared for and happy.
Thank you for taking the time to complete a review for Munhaven. I am glad that your mum has settled so well. It was lovely to include families in our events we have for our residents.
I cannot rate Munhaven care home highly enough. The staff treat the residents like family and the residents are cherished with every need met. The staff always have time to stop and chat, the food is delicious and the atmosphere calm and loving. The rooms are homely and the garden a delight to be in. Munhaven is at the heart of a very special community. In my opinion, it really is a home full of the very best care.
Thank you so much for your wonderfully kind words. We pride ourselves on providing person-centred care, embracing our family of residents.
Since my grandmother arrived at Munhaven, I have seen the light back in her eyes and she absolutely loves everyone there. She has made lots of friends and loves the staff very much.
The home is very clean with lovely displays showing the different activities.
Thank you so much for your kind words. It is a pleasure to know and care for your grandmother, she lights up our lives every day.
Munhaven and its staff are outstanding, they are all caring and welcoming. My aunt always looks well and they are wonderful in that there are many activities which the residents get involved in and it certainly helps stimulate their mental health. It is always lovely and clean and the food is excellent. I am always kept informed regarding my aunt and appreciate everything they do despite having dementia she is respected and because the staff are happy this reflects on the residents. I am so glad my aunt is spending her final years in Munhaven I couldn't think of a better place. Well done to all of you because you are all amazing and I can't thank you enough.
Thank you for your wonderful review and kind words. It is always an absolute pleasure to care for your aunt.
These people have looked after my father like he is their own father. Their care and overall professionalism with my dad is absolutely outstanding. This care home is a credit to the care profession and should be recommended to all care homes as the way things should be done. A huge thank you for everything.
It was a pleasure looking after your father. Thank you for taking time to complete a review for us.
I visited my grandad twice whilst he was staying at Munhaven Care Home for some respite care. On both occasions, the staff were friendly and welcoming. The home smelt fresh and clean, the residents were happy, and my grandad enjoyed being around other residents and making several friends. It was like a little holiday for him, and it was a joy to see him so happy. I even took my two young children, and they had so much fun playing with the residents and the keyboard, watching the fish and bird with my grandad. They were even spoilt and given biscuits, as my grandad also enjoyed his fresh fruit snack and drink. Overall, a lovely atmosphere and a joy to visit. I would like to thank all the staff for taking such great care of my grandad and also for welcoming us to visit him.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review. It is a pleasure to care for your grandad.
Mum's cared for and kept occupied with various activities, exercises, music, and crafts. Despite having a fall, she was very well looked after and cared for in the 8 hours it took for the ambulance to arrive.
Thank you so much for your kind review. It is a pleasure to care for your mum.
We were wonderfully welcomed and were pleased to see our loved on comfortable and well looked after.
Thank you for taking the time to complete a review for us. Your feedback is very important to us.
I have found the home to be clean and tidy and the staff are so very kind and caring for my wife that I feel that I can leave my wife in their care knowing that she is safe and well looked after and made to feel at home. The food cannot be faulted and the variation is unbelievable. Having spoken to my wife she tells me that she is very happy to be here but obviously would rather be at home with me. I visit my wife at least four times a week and would highly recommend the home to other people who find they or their relatives are in need of extra care.
it's a pleasure looking after your wife and you when you visit.
Many thanks for all that you do we appreciate it more than you know!
Thank you for taking the time to write a review, it's much appreciated. Our staff take pride in the care they provide and really appreciate the feedback
Mum has been a resident in Munhaven for nearly ten years. During this time Mum's needs have increased but she has always been wonderfully looked after. Staff are considerate and caring with Mum - really excellent - we could not ask for more.
Thank you for your kind review. It's been a pleasure to look after your mum, she is a big part of our Munhaven family
Communication from them is good and whether you turn up or ring you are always met with a smile.
I can't rate high enough with how they have given me my Mum back.
Thank you for taking the time to complete a review. It's lovely that you feel you have your mum back, she is very much part of our Munhaven family.
Our family has always been welcomed warmly by the staff throughout Covid. Precautions were always observed, yet we were able to see my mum in some way or other safely. The carers have forged close relationships with my mum which have enriched her life. I can not thank them enough.
Thank you for taking the time to complete a review. Covid has been a very challenging time, we are proud that we were able to support meaningful visiting.
Munhaven is a very caring place and mum is very well looked after despite her complex needs. She has lived at Munhaven now for 9.5 years and throughout this time has received kind, considerate and friendly care by staff who understand her despite her limited conventional ability to communicate these days. Munhaven is as much her family as we are. In earlier times she enjoyed activities and helping the staff, having been a busy and active person all her life. While her ability to participate now is very limited, she nonetheless is still able to sit and observe and raise a smile. The staff make every effort to include her while respecting her need for bed rest, and her diet also reflects her individual needs. My siblings and I have nothing but admiration for the dedication of the Munhaven staff, and the friendly welcome we always get when we visit. I can't praise and recommend Munhaven highly enough.
Thank you for taking the time to complete a review. It's lovely and a pleasure to be able to look after your mum for so many years.

Meet the Team (1)

Hi, I’m Hannah, and I am proud and excited to take on the role of Registered Manager here at Munhaven.
I’ve been with Norse Care for over 10 years, starting out as a bank care staff member and have been pleased to have been able to progress through roles such as Team Leader, Coach, and Care Lead across multiple sites, before taking on my first registered manager role last year. My journey has given me the opportunity to support and work alongside staff and residents, always with the goal of making a positive difference in their lives. I have a particular passion for working with people living with dementia.
My previous experience as Manager of a Housing with Care scheme has helped me develop a deep understanding of what it takes to create a warm, supportive environment. I believe in the power of teamwork, and my aim is to ensure everyone is working together towards one shared goal: providing our residents with a meaningful, enriched life.
