Every time I go and visit Mum, I am amazed at how happy and engaged the residents, that can be, are. There is always something organised every day, to stimulate and entertain them. All the staff are well trained and so caring and they treat each person with respect and as individuals. The chef does
a brilliant job providing nutritious meals and cooks a beautiful birthday cake for each birthday or special occasion. The staff work as a great team, supporting each other. I am so pleased that we found such a special home from home for Mum to spend the rest of her days in comfort and safety.

On the death of my mother, I went to the care home to see my father. The carers took my father to his room and told him about my mother's death because I was too emotional.
On the day of my mother's funeral, three carers brought my dad to the burial and looked after him all day. The work they did that
day was very much appreciated.

I have visited several relatives/friends who have been in care homes over the years.
Never have I been in one that is so nice.
Munhaven is warm, clean (none of the usual unpleasant smells) friendly and above all else has the most wonderful atmosphere.
The residents all seem happy and so well cared
for and the staff treat them all with knowledge, care, respect and understanding.
This place is outstanding and sets the standard all care homes should try for.

This home is the very best I have seen. I have visited quite a few. All the staff are very caring and they keep the residents very clean. The place does not smell of 'wee' as so many other homes I have seen do smell. They do activities, they go out, somebody comes in and sings with music. Staff are
very friendly towards the residents. They have a choice of dinners which are cooked superbly. Staff are friendly to visitors who come in. FANTASTIC PLACE.

My husband has just spent two weeks in respite care at Munhaven while I visited our son in the USA. It was my husband's second visit and I have been consistently impressed and reassured by the kind and efficient care given by all members of staff to my husband and to me.

My very close friend spent 4 days at Munhaven and was looked after by a genuine, caring and compassionate team.
The entire staff are so enthusiastic, friendly and supportive - nothing was ever too much trouble!
The high standard of care shown at Munhaven is so appreciated and their compassion and
patience will never be forgotten.
I can totally understand why they won an award for The Top 20 Care Homes in East Anglia - so well deserved!

I'm very satisfied with his care. The staff are wonderful. they always have time for the residents who seem to be special to them. The home is very clean with a homely, friendly atmosphere. The food is excellent.

My husband can only remember walking into the dining room and being greeted by a very friendly man who welcomed him and suggested sharing a table with him, he enjoyed the conversation. He seems to have been happy there and is willing to go again for a week. I have found the staff very friendly and helpful
and the atmosphere in the home is happy and caring. A friend who drove us to Munhaven the first time my husband stayed there commented on the loving care with which the residents were treated, she wished her husband had been there.

My brother is so happy to be here in Munhaven. He feels safe here which is what he needs. The staff and food is excellent. He would disappear if he had to be moved to another home. I am delighted with the whole situation, knowing my brother is contented and happy once more.

My mother was put into Munhaven on a tempory basis after an operation. This has now become permanent due to her vascular dementia.
We looked at numerous care homes and none came up to Munhaven standards. All of the staff are always happy and make the residents feel at home, they just can't do enough
for them. I turn up at various times and is always made welcome. On arrival, the home always smells clean and fresh.
You can have a coffee and stay for lunch if you wish, and I must say the food is superb such a choice. Well done Chef.
There is always something going on for the residence, it can be music on the keyboard or piano, dancing, games, painting. The list goes on.
There is a lovely garden that is totally secure. The care and support my mother receives is second to none, absolutely superb, and all the staff and management are very approachable and will help you out with any queries that you may have.
I feel very lucky to have found a place where my mother is very happy and well looked after.

My grandfather moved to Munhaven in October 2015 and I can honestly say it's been the best move for him. The staff are truly amazing, kind, loving and attentive to his individual needs, showing him the utmost respect.
Munhaven has an outstanding homely atmosphere, is extremely clean and there is always
a friendly welcome to all who visit. I simply cannot thank all concerned for the care they have shown my grandfather. It is the happiest I have known him for years.
A massive thank you to the cook, who's food is produced with love and thought. Delicious!!

My husband and I spent the say with our friend yesterday and a most enjoyable day we had. It was so nice to see such a clean and pleasant place to visit. The management and staff there were a pleasure to spend time with and were so caring not only to the residents but equally to the visitors too. We
have been many times and each time is as good as the last. The food was excellent as was the company. The icing on the cake was the local MPs frequent visits. All in all a brilliant day.

I am so pleased my husband is now living at Munhaven. They are very good with him and he is happy and content most of the time. The staff are gentle are considerate, they have my vote of thanks. The food, like a 5 star hotel, the cook is very organised, all her team know what they can and cannot do,
although the cook is qualified to cook, she cooks with her heart and enjoys presenting those lovely dishes, all with excellent results, not just in appearance but also in flavour. May it all continue. Happy Christmas Munhaven.
