Mum has just had two weeks respite care in High Haven and had a wonderful time. She keeps talking about how lovely are, and how well they looked after her. I agree - each time I visited, the staff were absolutely lovely - so friendly, welcoming and helpful. I really couldn't recommend High Haven strongly enough. Mum is already looking, forward to going back later in the year, and I know while she is there, I can relax knowing that she is in great hands. 100% happy!

Mum has been in for respite, and I cannot praise enough for how amazing all the staff are here. Nothing is too much trouble, so helpful and so understanding. Just amazing. Thank you so much for everything.
Thank you so much for you kind review, I will ensure it is shared with the team.
The staff in High Haven are really lovely. They helped me a lot when I was trying to get my mother in law there. I understand the building is very old so some parts look a bit tired. Her room is very small but she seems happy with it, and as long as she's happy, we're happy. I've seen the staff intersact with other residents and they genuinely care, not all homes are the same.
Thank you for your kind words, our residents happiness is paramount. We strive to ensure that everyone that every interaction is meaningful and relevant to those we care for. Once again thank you, we are thrilled to receive your feedback.
Can't really pinpoint any one incident, but the care and affection given every day is amazing.
Thank you so much for your kind words, we will ensure these are passed onto the team.
My dad was in High Haven. He never wanted to go into a home but after being admitted there after a stay in hospital he didn't want to come home. He was very happy while he was there. The staff are angels. They are so helpful, kind and care about the residents. Everyone works very hard. This includes the cleaners, kitchen staff providing lovely home-cooked meals and all the admin team. Such a friendly home.
Thank you so much for your kind words, the team here at High Haven strive to make everybody's experience enjoyable and personal to them. We are so pleased that both you and your dad found the staff happy and helpful. I will pass your words of kindness to the team.
First of all, having my own room with a TV, one could relax and sleep.
The staff were very caring and treated me well, someone was always on hand.
I could not fault anyone. I am not going to fault the kitchen staff either. The meals were very edible and a choice was offered.
Thank you for your kind words, we are very pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay and were able to get some well-deserved rest during your stay.
My stay at High Haven has been very pleasurable and I can't fault the staff. They have all been very helpful and nothing has been too much trouble for them.

My friend stayed in June, I was too ill to help him stay home when his partner went to the grandson's wedding. The genuine happy vibe of the place was a joy to visit, kind, caring, genuine staff who let the residents be their unique selves and the great care that my friend received saw him coming home a happier stronger man than he was when he went in, what a difference a week can make.
Thank you for your kind words, I will share these with the team. At High Haven, we strive to ensure that all our residents have a positive experience and are treated with dignity and respect and given the opportunity to celebrate their uniqueness.
My mum has been in High Haven for six weeks now and we have been very pleased with her progress and care she has been given. The staff have been excellent and so kind and caring and we can't thank all of them enough. The help and support they have shown me has been second to none.
Thank you for your kind review, we are so pleased you are happy with the progress your mum has made and the care she has received. It is important for us to ensure that our families feel supported as much as our residents. Once again thank you I will pass on your kind words to the team.
Mum went into High Haven a very confused and apprehensive lady. All the staff were lovely. They were friendly, helpful, supportive and kind. They did everything in their power to help Mum and if High Haven had been in Swaffham we would have been happy for Mum to stay with them. They were so good that Mum decided to go into permanent residential care. We cannot thank them enough for all that they did. Highly recommend this care home.
Thank you for your kind words they will be passed onto the team, it was an absolute pleasure to support your mum and enable her to make a fully informed decision regarding her future care.
My husband was referred to High Haven from hospital on Dec 8th 2023 (following a fall resulting in a broken hip and partial hip replacement) for rehab. He has received the most outstanding care and compassion and his ultimate return home has been planned and facilitated with the utmost concern both for him and myself. I cannot adequately express in words my gratitude.
Thank you for your kind words, we are so pleased that we have been able to support and facilitate your husband to return home. The team at High Haven strive to ensure that not only the needs of our resident's are taken into consideration but that of their families and loved ones.

I was concerned at first when my father was moved here from another care home where he had ensuite facilities but from the beginning, I was impressed with the caring nature of the staff, the general cleanliness and the facilities. Furthermore, Dad has settled in so well and is really happy here so I can not ask for anything more.
Thank you for your kind review we are so pleased you are satisfied with the service provided, our staff pride themselves on getting to know each individual and ensuring high standards of care. I will pass your kind words onto the team.
During my visit to see my mum on Sunday I was immensely impressed with the staff at High Haven. Helpful, cheerful, and professional, they created a lovely homely atmosphere for the residents and visitors. Nothing was too much bother. I left very happy and sure Mum is well looked after. Amazing job. Thank you.
Thank you for your kind review, it is greatly appreciated by the team. Creating a homely environment where both families and residents feel well looked after is paramount to us.
My husband went into High Haven at short notice as I had to go into hospital. From the moment I had notification of going into hospital (4 days!) the staff at High Haven could not have been more helpful and he went into the home 2 days later. The care and attention he received from all the staff was exemplary! There are activities arranged (if you want to join in) every day. Food was delicious and there were always drinks on hand to keep everyone hydrated. The atmosphere in the home was always happy and my husband felt that all the staff cared about the welfare of all. If you need a care home I can’t recommend it highly enough!
Thank you for your wonderful review, we are so pleased that you feel the care and attention you both received was exemplary and that all staff cared for the welfare of all our residents, as a team this is something we strive to do and means so much to us. We are equally thrilled with your...

Meet the Team (1)

I started my career at 18 as a care support worker, at this point I knew this was the job for me, 20+ years later and as a manager, I can’t imagine doing anything else.
Over the years, I have been very fortunate to meet many wonderful people to work alongside and care for. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing someone smile because you have helped them in some way.
I am so lucky to be part and lead such a wonderful team that is dedicated to delivering high-quality person-centered care, something that NorseCare holds at the heart of everything we do, to ensure positive outcomes for our residents
