My mum was in High Haven for 5 years and sadly passed away earlier this month. She enjoyed being there. All the staff were excellent and very caring the residents always come first. The food was excellent. I was always made very welcome when I visited my mum, it was like home from home. I would highly
recommend High Haven. I can not thank everyone enough for all they did for my mum.

After six years in High Haven, for both residential care and specialist dementia care, my mother has today left High Haven for the last time.
During her time there the attention to her health and welfare has been outstanding, but so much more than that, she has been treated with respect, dignity and
kindness. Over the past two years, it has been very difficult for me to visit and often as I would have liked but the team have always kept me up to date with calls and messages about her health and wellbeing, giving me great comfort in knowing she was in good hands.
I would not hesitate to recommend High Haven. In fact, when the time comes, I'm moving in myself.

My brother was a resident of High Haven for two and a half years and sadly passed away in November. From the very beginning to the very end, his care was outstanding. He regularly told me how wonderful the staff were and was very complimentary about the food! All the staff are dedicated, hard-working,
conscientious and are like family to many. They are an exceptional team of people, and I would have no hesitation in recommending this care home to anyone. It was always comforting for my family to know that my brother was so well cared for.

All staff were very friendly and helpful, taking good care of my mother while she was there in respite due to my Dad travelling to the USA to see my brother. The home is clean and all Covid-19 precautions are taken. Visiting needs to be booked in advance to ensure the safety and health of both visitors
and residents.
Staff are lovely and always smiling, helpful and friendly. We are very happy with the care Mum received. They all treat the old and especially the dementia patients with kindness and dignity.

My father was admitted in the autumn of 2018, following the deterioration of his Parkinsons, and developing Lewy body dementia. He was resident until his passing in November 2021, and his care was excellent throughout. The staff did their level best at all times, and always kept us fully informed in
pandemic times of his fluctuating health. In the last month of his life, the bond the staff had made with him was clear to see. Thank you, Team High Haven.

I arrived at High Haven in September 2021. I will be going home this coming Friday. In the time that I have been here. I have felt very comfortable. From the staff to the management, the staff are very friendly and go beyond their everyday duties. The food is excellent too, with a wide variety of choice.

High Haven is a well run excellent care provider that I would recommend to other people. They make sure that resident's needs come first. The caring environment is superb with experienced, sympathetic and knowledgeable staff. They constantly update relatives on the care and needs of their loved ones.
Daily activities are a must and are enjoyed by all. The manager is very professional, caring and cares for all her residents with a passion. Excellent care!

My husband suffered from Alzheimer's and went into full-time care with High Haven, Downham Market. In the three years he was there he was treated with respect and dignity. He was encouraged to do activities, and when no longer able to do anything he was loved. I was encouraged by this and forever grateful.

My Father, aged 88, has just returned to his home following two week’s respite care at High Haven Downham Market. The set up at the home is first class, my Dad suffers with Dementia and the home specialises with this type of condition. Having visited my Dad Three times during his stay I can honestly
say that the home is excellent. It is very clean throughout and his room was more than adequate for him, this included a large TV which he could watch whenever he liked. The staff, at all levels, were very engaging with my Dad, other patients and also visitors when on site. In addition, they were extremely professional and polite when communicating via the phone. My Dad takes a number of medications which were clearly administered correctly throughout his stay, the Mar chart was filled in every time and gone through in detail with myself when Dad came home at the completion of his stay. The food and the daily activities were excellent. A great place to stay, highly recommend.

This is the second time my mother-in-law has been in High Haven. She has enjoyed her stay again and decided that this is the home to spend the rest of her days. The staff are all friendly and helpful. Everyone seems so happy. I just did not want to go back to an empty home alone.

My mum was taken ill in March and went to High Haven for respite care. From the time of her being there, her care has been faultless. I cannot thank the carers, activities lady, the cooks, cleaners are truly amazing. It has put myself and my sisters at ease, knowing my mum is getting the very best of
care and attention. We never thought we would see our mum so happy and joining in all the activities.

In the short time mum has been a resident at High Haven, I have been very impressed with the care she has received. The activities they provide are excellent. Something different every day. The food is fantastic, you can also join them for a meal which mum loved when I joined her for Sunday lunch. Early

High Haven looked after my Nan so well. My Nan was not a particularly social person but with a gentle push of your wonderful staff, she would go and eat, join in activities and made friends. She actually enjoyed being at High Haven, which we never thought she would.

I started my career at 18 as a care support worker, at this point I knew this was the job for me, 20+ years later and as a manager, I can’t imagine doing anything else.


Over the years, I have been very fortunate to meet many wonderful people to work alongside and care for. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing someone smile because you have helped them in some way.


I am so lucky to be part and lead such a wonderful team that is dedicated to delivering high-quality person-centered care, something that NorseCare holds at the heart of everything we do, to ensure positive outcomes for our residents
