This is the second time my mother-in-law has been in High Haven. She has enjoyed her stay again and decided that this is the home to spend the rest of her days. The staff are all friendly and helpful. Everyone seems so happy. I just did not want to go back to an empty home alone.
Thank you for your kind comments and we are delighted that your mum has decided that High Haven is going to be her new home.
My mum was taken ill in March and went to High Haven for respite care. From the time of her being there, her care has been faultless. I cannot thank the carers, activities lady, the cooks, cleaners are truly amazing. It has put myself and my sisters at ease, knowing my mum is getting the very best of care and attention. We never thought we would see our mum so happy and joining in all the activities.
Thank you for your kind comments about the care and support your mother has received at High Haven.
In the short time mum has been a resident at High Haven, I have been very impressed with the care she has received. The activities they provide are excellent. Something different every day. The food is fantastic, you can also join them for a meal which mum loved when I joined her for Sunday lunch. Early days but very impressed.
Thank you for your kind review of the care and support your mum has been receiving at High Haven.
High Haven looked after my Nan so well. My Nan was not a particularly social person but with a gentle push of your wonderful staff, she would go and eat, join in activities and made friends. She actually enjoyed being at High Haven, which we never thought she would.
Thank you for your kind words about the care and support your Nan received at High Haven.
Very good care home, sometimes staff seem really busy, food is excellent. Overall I rate 10 out of 10.
Thank you for your kind comments.
Thank you, High Haven.

The treatment my mum gets in High Haven is excellent in every way.
Thank you for your kind comments about your mum's care.
Lovely clean accommodation. Very friendly staff, helpful and polite.
Our relative seems quite happy and very well looked after.
Good staff presence at all times.
Thank you for your kind comments about the care and support your sister is receiving at High Haven.
The contrast on arriving at High Haven couldn't have been more different. An hour after her arrival, all her needs had been addressed. Ripple mattress and special cushion ordered, physio and district nurse appointment made, GP informed and lunch!
The kindness and care was second to none. The staff were friendly, compassionate and professional. Nothing was too much trouble. On arrival, she was told if she felt low or lonely just call.
Excellent, delicious food which helped mum quickly gain weight.
Without a doubt, her speedy recovery and return home was down to the first class team.
To everyone, thanks for everything from myself and my mum.
Thank you for your kind words about the care and support your mother received at High Haven. I will pass on your compliments about the food to the catering team.
My late aunt was in the care home for nearly 4 years she always was well looked after. When I was in New Zealand they contacted me out there to inform me that she had to go to hospital. I have had phone calls at 2 in the morning if there was a problem. She was very happy there. Sadly she passed away on the 15th Jan. I was informed by them that she was near the end and in hospital. I have nothing but praise for the staff, she passed away 15/1/2018.
Thank you for your kind words about the care and support your aunt received at High Haven, especially in their support for you at such a difficult time. Please accept our condolences for your loss.
Mum is so happy living in a safe and caring community where she has made new friends and reconnected with old acquaintances. It's great to see her full of interest in those around her again and happy and peace of mind for the family to know she is well cared for.
Thank you for your comments about how well your mum has settled at High Haven.
The care and education of the staff is exemplary at all times. I have seen nothing but loving care given to my husband. Drinks are offered and given frequently and dignity maintained at all times. He always looks well groomed and happy.
Thank you for your considered thoughts about the care and support provided to your husband at High Haven.
Good care home, lovely staff.
Thank you for your kind words about High Haven care home and the staff.
This care home is very efficient, friendly staff always keeps me updated about mum's health. Always looks clean, tidy everywhere you go.
Thank you for your kind words about the team and home at High Haven.
I could not fault the care and attention I received, the staff and physios were excellent, they certainly worked hard to get me on my feet, which they succeeded with flying colours.
Thank you for your kind words about the care you received while at High Haven.
I cannot find words to express the kindness and exceptional care given to me during the time I spent at Nordelph Rehab Unit. Staff, right across the board greeted me with a warm smile and pleasant word. The "carer" staff are always conscious of your dignity and privacy during the healing process. Food is very good with choices no one could grumble about. Facilities were good with special occasions recognised and treated as such. I certainly have not experienced teams working so smoothly with the one aim of getting their patients back to fitness. Excellent.
Thank you for your kind words about the care and support you received at High Haven.
My mother spent just over two very happy years at High Haven. She was very well looked after and her end of life care was exceptional. The home is in a programme of being upgraded and newly decorated rooms are lovely, but there is still room for improvement. However, that is secondary to the wonderful people who work there. Everyone in the team should be praised for the work they do. The home is a friendly, welcoming place.
Thank you for your kind words about the care received by your mother at High Haven and please accept our condolences for your loss. I've passed on your comments about the refurbishment to our team at Head Office.
I found the staff very helpful and the care and support given to the residents was far and beyond that required of them. Even though they were often pushed for time they still put the residents health and comfort first and foremost. I would not hesitate to recommend this home to anyone. I was also very impressed with the cleanliness.
Thank you for your kind words about the care your sister received at High Haven.
My father was taken into the home at the beginning of the year and I am extremely impressed. Everyone from the manager down seems to be extremely motivated towards the best possible care for the residents. They are always willing to chat, discuss issues and share a few stories and jokes. This is a care home that has demonstrated to me that it how care homes should be run.
Thank you for your kind words about the care your father is receiving at High Haven. We're pleased you feel happy with the way the home is run.

Meet the Team (1)

I started my career at 18 as a care support worker, at this point I knew this was the job for me, 20+ years later and as a manager, I can’t imagine doing anything else.
Over the years, I have been very fortunate to meet many wonderful people to work alongside and care for. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing someone smile because you have helped them in some way.
I am so lucky to be part and lead such a wonderful team that is dedicated to delivering high-quality person-centered care, something that NorseCare holds at the heart of everything we do, to ensure positive outcomes for our residents
