Excellent, caring staff and management treated my dementia suffering wife with compassion and love, ensuring her dignity and comfort were maintained at all times. They were understanding of all her needs and of my grief as her mental condition deteriorated from Easter and could not have been more considerate towards the concerns of the family at a difficult time. Her seven months stay at the home until her passing were comfortable, her room was clean and warm, and the carers - day and night staff - were attentive, friendly, knowledgeable and always on hand.

When I first walked into the Bellstone three years ago I immediately felt the love that is there and I knew that my mum would be well cared for. Three years on and initial instincts have proven to be correct. Firstly the team that were there then are nearly all still there now, which speaks volumes. I visit almost daily and I see how dedicated every single member of staff is. My mum is surrounded by people who care for and love her which means so much and I simply cannot fault the Bellstone.

My godmother (my mother's cousin) is very happy to be at Bellstone. She has been cared for very well over the last 6 years. She will be 95 this month and still quite happy to be cared for. I visit most weeks with my partner of years and we all get on really well.

Unfortunately, my mum is at the end of her life, but they are making things as comfortable as possible for her and us. Her dancing, cheeky wit, singing and effortless ability to make anybody smile as soon as you enter the room will be greatly missed. We appreciate all the support, help and kindness that we have received from her daughter and son-in-law over the last five and a half years. Their weekly visits will be missed by us all. We rate most services according to how safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led they are, using four levels:
Lovely first floor room to the rear of the building over looking the gardens. Freshly decorated with new carpet and furniture. Room is next to our spa bathroom and hairdresser room. Accessible via stairlift. We do not have a lift so the resident will need to be mobile and not wondersome.
