My mum has been in Chrissian Care Home for 6 months. She is do happy and well looked after. She has been a little pickle at times (due to dementia), but everyone takes it in their stride. All the carers are amazing, the chef is a legend and the cleaner is always on the go!

We visit daily and notice that the care and attention is across all the residents. The environment is so homely, the food is perfect and adapted if a resident needs help - the chef even peeled the skin off sausages for my mum. Thankyou for looking after my mum so well!

Our dad was resident here and we cannot express how grateful and appreciative we are.
The care he received was excellent, staff are always friendly and welcoming. It feels very homely and resident are happy.

Staff are compassionate, they go above and beyond. Any questions or queries we've had have been answered in a prompt, honest and professional manner. It always felt the staff cared about dad's well-being as much as we did. Would highly recommend this home.

Dad has been in the care home for a couple of years, staff were excellent, very friendly and took their time and took care of my dad, who at times was difficult to manage. They knew lots about him and the family, the staff had a very personal touch to their care. The manager and owner were present and approachable and accommodating for requests.

It was my first visit as I only recently found out where he was. My first impression was that of being very happy with the staff member who answered the door and showed me in.
The atmosphere was lovely and positive, which carried on for the whole visit.
Having met all the staff, I am so grateful and impressed with them all, especially the manager, she was superb.

The lunch meal and decor is so accommodating, the other residents all seemed so happy with everything going on. The activities planned for the next week are excellent, with something for everyone. If I end up in a residential home, I hope it's this one.

I wish to express the excellent care he is receiving and the improvements in his quality of life. It's extremely homely/friendly, relaxing and calm and care is prompt and an excellent standard. His mobility and confidence have improved and now goes to the shops by himself. He's regained happiness; the social worker noted the big improvements in health etc. He laughs often with everyone and always says the food is delicious and has put on weight since moving in.
His appearance has improved, and his social worker commented on how much happier/healthier and content he has become.
He is like his old self, he loves the companionship, conversations, and new relationships he's making. Lastly, which makes it more homely - the owners are very involved and there regularly. I think it makes it a homelier/family feeling, it has been owned by the same family for a long time, I think 40 years and they do go above and beyond for all.

He is very well cared for, very happy, and feels he is at home from home - Thank You.

Chrissian is a friendly Home, and staff have always gone above and beyond to make my father feel included and cared for. When we visit, even though they are busy, they do what they can to move things around so we can sit in a quiet area with him. The latest manager has even noticed new things that no-one has spotted before, which should help him to be more comfortable. It's good to feel like staff care as much for your loved one's wellbeing as you do.

The staff know patients' likes and dislikes. On our wedding anniversary, they gave us a special dinner in one of the rooms, beautifully set out, champagne glasses, a beautifully cooked meal and a large bouquet. I am always greeted with a cup of tea. Everyone is friendly, patients are given assurance and the staff show they care. Always staff at hand.

This is a very homely care home.
My mother is a resident and is very happy here.
The staff are all very friendly and very professional, but most of all, they are compassionate.
I feel safe in the knowledge that they keep me informed about Mum, and I feel I could speak to them about anything.
Owners, management and staff are all excellent.

I only ever see happy faces when I visit.

The home lacks what other homes in the area offer in way of facilities and outings to activities available in the area. I have a friend who has a resident in another home which offers vastly enhanced features and outings etc. such as organised visits to the coast and theatres etc.
