I began my career in health and social care as a carer in 1999 and progressed through the roles of senior carer, shift lead and deputy before becoming a Home Manager in 2023. I lead with compassion, transparency and accountability, always striving to provide high standards of care where residents feel safe, valued and truly at home, and where staff feel supported in their roles. What I enjoy most about my work is seeing residents live their lives to the fullest and embracing the fact that no two days are ever the same.
Outside of work, I have a very close family who are incredibly important to me, and I love spending time on holiday with them.
I have over three and a half years’ experience working in health and social care recruitment as Head of Compliance, where I was responsible for ensuring social workers met all regulatory and safeguarding requirements to work safely with children and vulnerable adults. In my role, I am guided by resident-centred values, striving to be dependable, consistent and compassionate in everything I do. What I enjoy most is knowing that the work I carry out behind the scenes has a direct and positive impact on residents’ lives. Although my role is administrative, I understand that accurate records, strong organisation and effective communication all contribute to safe, high-quality care. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my partner and our dogs, exploring new places and enjoying good food together.
I’ve worked in the care sector for over ten years, starting my journey as a Care Assistant and progressing through senior roles before joining Manson House as Deputy Manager. My experience spans residential and dementia care, and I’m passionate about creating a supportive, person-centred environment where residents feel valued, and staff feel confident and empowered. I believe in leading with empathy, consistency, and integrity, always striving to maintain high standards while nurturing a positive team culture. What I enjoy most about my role is building meaningful relationships, supporting residents to live fulfilling lives and helping colleagues grow in their careers.
Outside of work, I’m very family-oriented and love spending time with the people closest to me.
