Mum was admitted to Horkesely Manor following a prolonged hospital stay and received excellent care. Very quickly, Mum realised how safe and supported she felt within this care home and decided she would like to become a permanent resident. Laura and her team have been quick to respond to Mum's Dementia
needs and her permanent relocation to the medical practice centre has ensured that Mum can receive the best care, whilst retaining independence around day to day activities and her personal care.
The team are fantastic, caring and supportive.
Reply from Charlie Diamond, Marketing and Communications Lead at Horkesley ManorThank you for sharing such thoughtful feedback. We're so pleased your mum has felt safe, supported, and able to maintain her independence at Horkesley Manor. Your kind words about Laura and the team mean a great deal.

My wife has P S P which I know is hard to deal with but as soon as we stepped foot in the nursing home we felt a sense of professionalism. All the staff seemed happy and approachable and they soon had us settled in. The grounds and buildings are very pleasant and parking and access easy. I am thinking
of extending the booked respite as I am pleased with the start of my wife's stay. Please keep up this fine work.
Reply from Charlie Diamond, Marketing and Communications Lead at Brandon ParkThank you for sharing such kind and thoughtful feedback. I just want to thank Horksley Manor for all the Care & Dignity the staff gave my Mum when she was there. So supportive and caring and made my Mum so comfortable in her last days. Even once she'd passed away they were supportive of me and my family. Nothing was too much and the care was second to none.
Such a lovely care home and would promote to anyone who finds themselves in a similar situation ,making my Mum's last two weeks her most comfortable and pain free. Lovely support from all who work there.

My mum went to weavers grange to be assessed.she stayed from the 25th of February to the 20th of April 2026.what can I say.the care home was brilliant.all the staff were so good.the level of care could not have been better.i was blown away by how good everything was.mum only came out because it was
a 35 round trip and the fuel costs and travelling was taking it's toll.if we lived closer I would have been more than happy for mum to stay there for the rest of her life.if you live closer and are looking for a care home for your self or a loved one do your self a massive favour and get your self or loved one ln weavers grange as soon as you can.

I recently had an excellent week of respite at Brandon Park.
The staff were all very kind and cheerful and helpful, and I was very comfortable.
The ambience of the home was of warmth and pleasantness, my visitors remarked on this. The help with the bath was excellent, and a treat as a usual constant
shower room user. The shower room pump had a few hiccups, but was promptly being reviewed, the room itself was very good and spacious.

I was in this home for one week only, but experienced excellent care and attention by all the staff. There was a wide variety of activities suited to each one's needs, with views taken into consideration. When a near neigbours loud media was playing at 11:30 PM when needing to sleep, it was immediately
quietened. Meals were excellent, with all needs in diets were supplied and satisfied.
A big thank you to all the excellent staff.

My mum lived at Brandon Park Maple Memory Centre for eighteen months.
She settled really quickly, the staff gave a level of support which was appropriate for her changing and variable needs.
Mum was happy, engaged in the social activities offered by the staff.
She was offered food to her taste.
The
staff really understand dementia and communicated well with all residents.
We as a family were always welcome at the memory centre included in decision making and kept well informed of any changes.
Mum died in the memory centre in Oct 25.
End of life care was perfect, enabling mum to die in her preferred place.
Staff at the home respected mum and our wishes.
Thank you to all the staff at Brandon for their support of both mum and us as a family.

Wonderful care, kindness & compassion shown to my father during his short stay at the home by all staff.
The staff were extremely welcoming & always greeted us with a smile and any queries were dealt with immediately & solutions found to make my father's stay there more comfortable.
My father sadly
passed away at the home, but while he was there he was treated with great dignity & respect at all times. I would highly recommend Horkesley Manor to others seeking excellent care for their loved ones.
Reply from Lynn Pereira, Marketing and Content Executive at Horkesley ManorThank you for sharing this with us.

We are so deeply sorry for your loss. To know that your father was cared for with such kindness and compassion during his time with us brings some comfort. Looking after someone at such a tender and emotional time is a privilege, and it is always done with the utmost respect and care.

It means a great deal to hear that you felt welcomed each time you walked through the door, and that any worries or questions were met with patience and understanding. Families matter just as much as those we care for, and being able to offer reassurance during difficult days is incredibly important.
