Dad is very happy with all the staff, as I am. They all seem friendly and helpful. He enjoys the food (he's put on weight).

It took a little while but he now feels settled and comfortable in Rosewood Lodge, which in turn is a weight off my shoulders. The staff are great!

This home is so friendly. The care is impeccable and my mother is very happy here. The food is fresh, meat, veg etc. and if the residents do not fancy what is on the menu, they just ask for something else. There are no problems.

My mother who has been a resined since 2014 had a fall at one of her clubs. A member of staff from Rosewood went to the hospital and stayed with her and accompanied her back to Rosewood when she was released. All the staff have been very helpful as she now needs more assistance than before and I have been kept up-to-date with her progress. They go out of their way to encourage her to eat and make special things for her when she doesn't want what everyone else is having.

My father has been a resident at Rosewood Lodge for just over a year. During that time he has regular visits from myself and other family member. Whether pre-planned or arriving unannounced we have always found the management and staff to be very caring, friendly and good-humoured towards their residents and visitors alike. The meals provided are good, well balanced and staff do their best to offer an alternative, if requested. Rosewood Lodge has a very homely feel, being a converted family house of generous proportions with comfortable accommodation, but without the identical long corridors and rooms of purpose-built care homes. To be cared for in one's own home would be an ideal situation, but when this is no longer possible I feel Rosewood Lodge offers a very homely and caring alternative.

Since Oct 2014, my father and mother resided together at Rosewood Lodge (until mum's death in August 2015). It was a very difficult decision for us to make as they had been married for 73 years and both needed different type of care plan but did not want to be apart. We investigated and looked at numerous places but we had our tick plan and none of them met our criteria. We were getting very anxious until we contacted Rosewood Lodge and met the manager and all her team. Rosewood Lodge ticked all our boxes and still does. The overall feeling you have there is it is like a big family. They are so kind, loving, sympathetic and always the same whenever you call in day or night. Without exception they are a marvellous team with the manager at the helm. My mum's last few days were made so comfortable and without their support we would have been lost.
