My sister, who is 89 years of age, is living some of her best years at Stuart House. She told me today (and many times previously) that they supply lovely meals and also treats. My experience of staff is that they are exceptional in their compassion and understanding, and nothing is too much for all.

Staff are friendly and caring, my mother can be very difficult but they cope with her very well.
The place is clean and comfortable with a good private area to sit and talk .
Contact with me is good if they need anything or there is a problem.
I recommend Stuart House and the staff there.

My grandmother is always well presented, happy and settled. I am always kept informed about her health and wellbeing. The carers are always welcoming and friendly. The care is outstanding and my grandmother enjoys doing the activities and going out.
My grandmother has advanced dementia but I think
she feels safe and happy.

My wife has been resident at Stuart House for just over six and a half years. I visit her every day so I have a good knowledge of the the home. Being very frail and immobile my wife requires extra attention and this is provided by an excellent team of dedicated carers.
While my wife is not able to
participate in the various activities provided, I am aware that what is on offer is absolutely first class. Singing, Dancing, Dressing up, Going out on Trips, and a host of other activities all go to make life for the residents as enjoyable as possible.
The Food consists of a good variety of dishes and is well cooked. Tea times could perhaps be improved upon.
The Manager is very approachable and always finds time to chat if the need arises.
Overall having a long association with Stuart House I would have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

I visited a friend of mine at Stuart House, I was greeted by friendly staff who went out of their way to make me feel welcome. I was offered a hot drink and biscuits on arrival. The home is clean and tidy with traditional decor which my friend prefers. There is lots on offer activity-wise with day trips,
themed days and chair exercise. My friend is very happy here and it'd lovely to see.

The staff went out of their way to help us get our aunt ready to go out to a family gathering - thank you so much.
I can't rate Stuart House highly enough - the staff are always so welcoming and caring. All of the staff know the residents really well and are always interacting with them when I visit.
The activities for residents are excellent - well organised, fun and stimulating.

My dad is a resident at Stuart House. It was a difficult decision for the family to place dad into a home, however we could no longer look after him at home , he needed 24/7 care. Dad has been a resident at Stuart House for 3 months now- in a short time all the carers has got to know dad personality,
offering support/ patience & understanding of his needs. Dad is settled within his environment and the staff are always friendly & informative of dads well being. The home offers in -house entertainment aswell as trips out for residents . It gives myself & my family peace of mind without a doubt how well dad is , he's safe & cared for. Thank you to all the carers/ staff you are all Amazing !

From the moment my sister and I were greeted by a particular staff member we have felt that the staff couldn't do enough for our mother. The home is always calm and happy. The activities lady is amazing, the manager knows everything that is going on. All the care staff are helpful, tender with the
residents and have time for everyone. Our mother's bedroom is bright and well decorated and furnished, it feels like a home from home. The best care we could have hoped for. Thank you all at Stuart House.

I cannot praise the staff at Stuart House more highly. The care they give my mother is first class - they work incredibly hard to make her comfortable and happy. During my visits, they are welcoming and could not be more helpful and caring.


The home is clean, tidy and is always looking homely. Effort

is always made by the staff to decorate at festive times and is jolly.


I am so pleased by mother is in Stuart House rather than anywhere else.

I visit on a regular basis with my therapy dog. Whenever we visit I always find Stuart House has a lovely homely feel about it with all of the staff demonstrating a really nice caring attitude towards all of the residents.

I cannot express how happy we are with the care being given to my mother. The carers at Stuart House go above and beyond to look after Mum and all the other residents and she is blissfully happy there and looked after 110%.

The most caring, warm and engaging staff look after my mum as if she were their mum. I could not ask for more. I would recommend highly to anyone. Super activities and trips out that mum really enjoys.

What a wonderful caring home. The staff are absolutely wonderful, they give over 100% to the residents. It's very well run, lots for them to do. Went to the garden party and the food was wonderful, so well run. The staff couldn't do enough for residents, such a lovely afternoon seeing everyone enjoying
themselves. Lovely young girl singing, mum really enjoyed it. It's spotlessly clean, rooms are lovely, bright and airy. The food is wonderful, all looks absolutely delicious. Visitors made very welcome, always offered tea and biscuits. It's very lovely to know Mum is being looked after so well—100%.

Debbie Brazier

Job Title: Care Home Manager Joined: 2005

Debbie joined Notaro Care Homes as a senior carer in 2005 and quickly became deputy manager soon after. In 2006 she was recruited as registered manager for the home and continues to work there today. Debbie realised early on in her career that she loved working with people with mental health issues and her determination and drive has led her to become a very successful respected manager, enabling individuals living with dementia.


Debbie has gathered a plethora of qualifications pertaining to her role, including the registered manager’s leadership and management qualification.


Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and running around after her granddaughter.
