Mum has been cared for better than we could ever have wished for, the team and management at the home are fabulous. Just a pity that the group that own the care home are not as caring as their wonderfull employees.
thank you so much for your kind review, our team is dedicated to providing high quality compassionate care and your feedback means a great deal to us. we appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. your support and encouragement motivate us to continue delivering the highest standards of care.
I received a bill for April showing yet another 10% increase and when I questioned why I was told it was a 'blip' in the system and that fees had increased yet again.
We are contesting this as mum has limited funds and we can't sell her property as the bottom has fallen out of the market. Still ongoing as no one responds and I'm fed up to the back teeth with them. Care home is excellent, business management is very poor.
Very pleased with everything with staff and home.
thank you for taking the time to give us such a lovely review. we are pleased that your experience is positive one
Mum is taken regularly to a local church coffee morning which is so important to her and we are grateful for that .

There is always a welcoming member of staff to greet all visitors. The home is always warm and clean. Lovely friendly local staff everyone on first name terms. It is reassuring to know my brother is in such good care. It gives all the family peace of mind. Many thanks.

A really lovely home. My grandma is well cared for at Stuart House. The activities suit her well as there is a fantastic programme. She goes on trips and the staff have really helped her to achieve this as she didn't go out much before. I'm always greeted kindly by the staff and my grandma speaks highly of all the staff. If you are looking for a care home for your relative I fully recommend Stuart House.
THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME TO LEAVE US SUCH LOVELY WORDS. IT IS LAWAYS LOVELY TO RECIEVE POSITIVE FEEDBACK ON OUR SERVICE
Visited my friend today and was given such a friendly welcome by the staff made to feel so comfortable. Everyone was happy and laughing such a lovely thing to see. My friend said that she enjoys the things that they do with a lady called Helen. I found out this is the activities lady so thank you Helen and the rest of the staff for making my friend feel part of your family.

My dad has been in Stuart House since May 2025. He had been in a different, private care home for 2 months previously and what a difference!
Stuart House is like a home from home, as much as a care home can be. The decoration around the home is homely and cheerful. All the staff are friendly and down to earth and speak kindly to residents. There are lots of activities taking place on a daily basis and residents are encouraged to join in but also respected if they don't want to participate. Dad has been on lots of lovely outings and enjoyed visits from singers and therapy animals. He's even done some baking, which is an absolute first in his whole life!
It was hugely stressful when Dad first had to leave his own independent home and move into a care home. To then have to move from the other care home after only 2 months was even more stressful but Debbie, Helen and Ruth at Stuart House made that move as easy as possible and I'm only sorry that Dad didn't go straight there in the first place.
Thank you so much for your kind words and for taking the time to leave such a lovely review. It truly means a great deal to our whole team. We are passionate about providing a caring, supportive, and welcoming environment, and it's wonderful to hear that this has been your experience. Your feedback...
My brother is getting amazing care from the lovely, helpful and caring staff.

My sister, who is 89 years of age, is living some of her best years at Stuart House. She told me today (and many times previously) that they supply lovely meals and also treats. My experience of staff is that they are exceptional in their compassion and understanding, and nothing is too much for all.

My grandmother has advanced dementia but I think she feels safe and happy.

While my wife is not able to participate in the various activities provided, I am aware that what is on offer is absolutely first class. Singing, Dancing, Dressing up, Going out on Trips, and a host of other activities all go to make life for the residents as enjoyable as possible.
The Food consists of a good variety of dishes and is well cooked. Tea times could perhaps be improved upon.
The Manager is very approachable and always finds time to chat if the need arises.
Overall having a long association with Stuart House I would have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

I visited a friend of mine at Stuart House, I was greeted by friendly staff who went out of their way to make me feel welcome. I was offered a hot drink and biscuits on arrival. The home is clean and tidy with traditional decor which my friend prefers. There is lots on offer activity-wise with day trips, themed days and chair exercise. My friend is very happy here and it'd lovely to see.
Thank you so much for taking the time to submit a lovely review for us.
I have always found the home to be welcoming. Staff are friendly + go above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Cups of tea + biscuits. My friend says he likes it there + it feels like home. He says there is lots to do.

I cannot speak highly enough of the care and compassion shown at Stuart House. My dear friend is a resident here and it has brought me such peace of mind knowing they are in such attentive and empathetic hands. The staff go above and beyond not only to meet physical care needs but to truly connect on a human level with kindness, patience and genuine warmth. It's clear that this isn't just a job. Well done, great team.
