Limewood

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
Dad moved into Limewood at the end of July this year, from a nursing home that had not been meeting his needs well at all. I can't stress enough the difference in the quality of care and the environment between the two places. I actually had a little happy cry at how lovely Dad's bedroom is at Limewood.
It actually feels like a home, rather than a clinical space. The carers and nurses are kind and knowledgeable and I feel very confident leaving Dad in their care. He is eating better than he has done in years - enjoying his food and eating at a table with others, rather than on a tray over his lap. I went on holiday with no worries at all about the care that Dad was receiving, for the first time in over a year. Thank you so much to the lovely, kind and friendly staff for giving me the peace of mind I desperately needed.

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
Manor House is a calm, caring, immaculately clean and well-led home. The staff are kind and very good at communicating with residents and their families. The staff are always smart and friendly, and they always seem joyful in their manner and several speak of their own experiences inspiring them to
do this job. Families are always encouraged to contribute thoughts when care plans are drawn up. Dad's dementia is the aggressive, pacing type. He is only ever met with kindness. He is never left alone. If he wonders, the staff go too. Accompanied on hospital visits. Comforted when upset. We can only speak of Manor House in the highest terms.

It took us a little while as a family to settle into Willowbrooke, but that was more about coming to terms with Dad's illness than anything else. The staff have been absolutely amazing from the start - always so supportive, positive, and caring. They really do work hard to make Dad as comfortable as
possible, and nothing is ever too much trouble.
I also love that we can visit at any time of the day, it makes such a difference to us and to Dad. The food is always good with plenty of choice and variety, which he enjoys. We're so grateful for the kindness and effort from everyone at Willowbrooke - it's made a tough situation much easier for us all.

Staff are friendly and caring, my mother can be very difficult but they cope with her very well.
The place is clean and comfortable with a good private area to sit and talk .
Contact with me is good if they need anything or there is a problem.
I recommend Stuart House and the staff there.
