In the six months my husband has been at Aspen Court he has been so much calmer and happier in himself. It is now a pleasure to visit him and have what I call my special time with him. I believe this is entirely due to the loving care, kindness and attention he is receiving from everyone who works there.
They are wonderful people who are enabling my husband to be the very best that he can be physically and mentally. That care has also been extended to myself as I always feel welcomed each time I visit and part of my husband's new family. My heartfelt thanks go to you all. Carers , nurses, activities staff, office and management and all the support workers , One hundred percent an amazing team !
Reply from Kim Leech, Registered Home Manager at Aspen Court Care Home

Our staff work so hard caring for our residents and their families, with love, compassion and sensitivity, so it is wonderful when they get recognition for all that they do. I will pass on you your thanks and kind words to everyone.

What a fantastic team at Aspen Court. They gave my stepfather above and beyond care during his stay. He was cared for and supported until he passed away. Treated with dignity and respect, a guard of honour was given by the night staff when he was carried from his room. The activities team never give
up trying to interact with residents, lots for everyone to join in and do. I was made to feel welcome and kept up to date with regards to his care. Thank you to every person who works at Aspen.

I recently visited my husband over the lunch time period. We were asked if we would like to sit outside in the garden for lunch - something we might have done at home. It was lovely and sunny, I noted at least 12 other resident sat under the canopy. The tables were set with cutlery, napkins and drinks
as if in the dinning room. The lunches were wheeled out and all the staff were helping the residents with their food. It was a happy environment with music playing. The staff were patient caring and observant of residents needs. A great deal of effort was made to ensure everyone was okay and happy as they could be. Well done Aspen Court and thank you.

Both my parents have been residents at Aspen Court spanning a number of years. The care is exceptional. Residents are treated with kindness, patience and dignity. Staff go above and beyond to provide individualised care and activities. The activities team are extraordinary providing a choice of stimulating
activities, events and celebrations. Friends and families are encouraged to join in adding to the feeling of a community.
You are welcome to visit at any time and are greeted with kindness by the staff, many of whom I have now known for years.
I am always kept well informed of anything to do with their care and there is always a manager available to discuss any concerns or updates.
In the most difficult of circumstances the staff at Aspen Court enabed my parents to spend precious time together, I cannot thanks them enough or recommend the home more highly.

Staff all very nice and genuinely seem to care about the residents. Care home is a bit dated but clean and homely feel to it. Food always looks nice. I am always offered a drink when I visit. I don't think the staff are able to give my mum the care she needs but this is down to mum's mental health and
lack of support from wider authorities.

The limes unit is a wonderful place to be. The staff are caring and considerate. I am lucky to be able to better my life by staying at the Limes. The staff are friendly and its a comfortable atmosphere to be in. The food is excellent and for the first time in my life I have a quality of life which I
didn't have before I moved to the limes. The manager is excellent at her job and has a lot of responsibility.

I feel very fortunate that my daughter is in the Limes. The Limes staff and especially the manager have helped and supported my daughter and she is now feeling better than she has for the past 25 years! What they've managed to do is turn her life around with patience and a structured environment. The

My uncle came to live at Cedar Lodge Care Home in the summer of 2022 as was struggling to look after himself and was very vulnerable and at risk of coming to harm living in the outside world, and naturally family would always be worrying about him. All the family are happy with the care he gets and
know that he is safe. He is also the happiest we have seen him.

My experience of the home is that mum seems happy, full of smiles. She enjoyed the singing and seeing the rabbit, holding it and stroking it. It seems that activity really cheered her up. She enjoys going for outings and having a bath. Everytime her nails are painted mum shows them to me and smiles.
The staff seem to pay attention and help mum when she is upset.

My dad has been living at Cedar Lodge for almost two years. It has been hard for him at times as he gets very anxious but the staff have always been so kind and reassuring. They have encouraged him to make decisions for himself whenever possible. I find that there is good communication from the lodge
regarding my dad's needs, and if there are any changes in his care I know he is safe and content at Cedar Lodge.

I visit the home weekly but on different days. I have always found my relative clean, tidy and well cared for. The home itself is always clean, as is his room. His clothing is washed and clean and neatly put away. I find the staff friendly, approachable and showing kindness to all residents. Some residents
can display challenging behaviour at times, but staff continue to show care and kindness. I have witnessed many attempts by staff to encourage and engage residents in a variety of activities. The food provided is of good quality. My relative is content with his surroundings, making allowance for his dementia and has made no complaints to me about his treatment. He especially likes the food, which from a highlight of his day. I have no qualms about recommending the home to future residents.
